Do All Baptists Except IFB's Spiritualize The Bible Prophesies To Israel

I'm a dispensationalist, I believe in the literal interpretation of the Scripture, until it becomes obvious it's not. There is no reason to believe what Zechariah said of Jerusalem to be spiritual.

Do All Baptists Except IFB's Spiritualize The Bible Prophesies To Israel

Zechariah said in context there would be no rain if they didn't come to Jerusalem. I can only see an earthly Jerusalem, unless there is such a thing as rain in heaven?

Do All Baptists Except IFB's Spiritualize The Bible Prophesies To Israel

The Scripture doesn't spell it out, as in many cases. What I've stated is what I believe, and I know there will be many who disagree. Zech. 14:16-19 "And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to...

Do All Baptists Except IFB's Spiritualize The Bible Prophesies To Israel

I think some of the distinction you're speaking of with Israel is confused and actually takes place during the Millennial reign of Christ. Zechariah said the nations will come to Israel to honor Christ during that 1000 years. If they don't come they will receive no rain, and Zechariah said...

The Gospel is Conditioned on Christ's Finished Work Alone

That's a poor testimony to carry around, Ken, that God doesn't want everyone to be saved. God help us!

The Gospel is Conditioned on Christ's Finished Work Alone

Hello Ken! Brother, you keep suggesting that believing in Christ Jesus of our own free will is not a condition of salvation. If we are chosen for salvation without our choice, as you believe, then God has definitely assigned the rest to Hell. Why did Peter say that God is not willing for...

    Tithing

My point was already made. The tithe existed before the Law with Abraham and carried over into the Law, then into the NT. Another point is that the Church in most cases cannot depend on gifts, but requires a steady income in tithes, just my opinion. It may not be an official commandment, but...

You can be a saint now!

None of us are righteous, only declared righteous by grace through faith. None of us are saints, only declared saints by grace through faith. We have been placed in a position by God we don't deserve.

TULIP - Which of the 5 points to subscribe to?

I've only found Total Depravity to be in Scripture. The other 4 are a theory gone bad.

Are We Born-Again Before Or After Faith?

Yes, I would agree that some aren't convicted of their sin. They have rejected it so long and so many times, not only is their conscience seared, but God has handed them over to Satan for their destruction.

Are We Born-Again Before Or After Faith?

Has it already been decided, or does God in His foreknowledge know when it will happen?

    Eternal Redemption Obtained

Sounds like God made the right choice for you.

What did God choose for your supper tonight?

    Eternal Redemption Obtained

So every word you speak, every action you take in this life is determined by God?

Christ Jesus Is The Only Savior!

On this I can totally agree!

Are We Born-Again Before Or After Faith?

It all happens by sharing the Gospel with the Holy Spirit convicting of sin in the heart of the hearer. Whether during preaching in a Church service or you sharing the Gospel somewhere on the street, the Holy Spirit uses that Gospel message there on the spot, piercing the heart with the truth...

    Eternal Redemption Obtained

It's amazing you say that being that you make dozens of choices a day that God has nothing to do with. The God-given free will can never be explained away, it's clearly seen in Scripture.

Are We Born-Again Before Or After Faith?

Nothing can be changed from what I pointed out by backing up and reading all of it. But I do agree it should all be taken together. I just cut to the point.

Are We Born-Again Before Or After Faith?

Paul said in Eph. 1:13 that after we believed we were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise. "In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise," I think we would...

    Eternal Redemption Obtained

Christ must die because Adam fell, in order for man to be saved. It sounds that the Pastor believes God made Adam fall.
