    Eternal Redemption Obtained

You have a very perverted learning of "free will." Someone has lied to you, Ken. God singles out all of us with the Gospel, provides everything for us to be saved. Just as in the Garden when Adam and Eve had the "free will" to disobey God, knowing the consequences, God respected and gave them...

    Eternal Redemption Obtained

Even if you hold to the 5 points you still have to believe and trust Him. The same exact thing you did. So your point makes no sense that "I" did something.

    Eternal Redemption Obtained

That's lame, Ken. You're grasping for straws at this point.

    Eternal Redemption Obtained

Prove that what I've said is wrong in Scripture, not by your perverted opinion. I was saved by grace through faith the very moment i believed the Gospel. I have nothing to boast about, that is insanity, God brought to me the Gospel, provided everything I needed to be saved, without any help...

    Eternal Redemption Obtained

To put together in a nut shell all that I've been saying, those who choose to believe on Christ have been chosen by God/predestined to His plan to be conformed in the image of Christ.

    Eternal Redemption Obtained

The Elect or Chosen are the ones who choose to believe on Christ in the prescribed order chosen by God. Only His way, and there is only one way. The remnant are chosen as a remnant, in other words by free will placing them in the remnant.

    Eternal Redemption Obtained

The "remnant" here is of Israel. It is the remnant that is elected, not who will be in the remnant.

    Does Free Will Limit God?

The reconciliation was for the "world" as Paul said. None of us could be saved if Christ hadn't taken our sins upon Himself and taken them out of the way. The "message of reconciliation" is us who are saved going out and proclaiming the gospel to the lost, that Christ has died for their sins...

John R. Rice and the KJV

Your grand-dad was one of the greatest men of God the world has ever seen. My mom had several Sword of the Lord articles originally written by him.

    X News 3

This is a sickening moment in our nations history.

    Does Free Will Limit God?

We're opposites, I'm a dispensationalist. That's ok, when you cut through the doctrines we both stand by grace through faith in our Savior. You can be wrong on all the doctrines but if you get Jesus Christ right you've won the victory in Him.

    Must Believers Keep the Sabbath?

I think I like Pastor Bill Parker, I for sure like his view on the Sabbath!

    Does Free Will Limit God?

I would rather we focus on the grace through faith. The Calvinists are almost as hardheaded and me.

    Does Free Will Limit God?

As I had thought, we are worlds apart. But that's ok, we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. I don't know you but from your posts I think you will at least agree with this.

Why did God allow the confusion of how to be saved?

That's right, light does not automatically equal salvation, but no man can say he is absent of all light. Man has a God-given conscience if nothing else, a sense of right and wrong. Going back to before the Law of Moses, Those Gentiles that had very little light, mainly the conscience, will...

Why did God allow the confusion of how to be saved?

Paul said that even the pagan Gentiles have a conscience that bears some light, and do the things in the Law not having the Law. So man is never totally without light.

Why did God allow the confusion of how to be saved?

Yes, God has a purpose in the sword among us. I don't want to argue but the truth is we can't discuss this with seeing God's plan totally different. I do want you to understand that I don't want to argue either! But when the 5 points meet with free will what else can be done? Everything is an...

Why did God allow the confusion of how to be saved?

Well, I know you're not for arguing, so I'll just let it rest. I do think you're on the right track, but I'm on the other side of the fence.

Why did God allow the confusion of how to be saved?

Yes, I agree, Jon. My point is that God could have used plain words in explaining what constitutes salvation and what doesn't without the possibility of misinterpretation, but He didn't. It would have required, I think, something like a rule book section carefully written in detail. Of course...

Why did God allow the confusion of how to be saved?

I think we would all agree that God could have written the Scripture in a way that left no doubt as to how we are saved. But yet He allowed for the possibility of His Word to be interpreted differently on the most important topic in Scripture, our salvation. Why do you suppose He allowed...
