    According to Faith

Another Gentile prepared beforehand for the salvation of the Lord. According to His foreknowledge He knew this Gentile would believe and made all the preparations. Salvation is all of the Lord!

    Question for Baptists

Good, I'm glad to hear it. We've been through it lately and I like to give it a rest from time to time. There will be another day!

    That's My Goal

2 Timothy 4:6-8 "For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that...

    Question for Baptists

Mate, I don't want to say what's on my mind. I'd rather we try and get along despite our differences. I'm pretty sure if we met and the Protestant/ Catholic thing didn't exist, we would be somewhere fishing telling large tales. But that's not the way it is, one would end up drowning the other/...

    According to Faith

I believe the #1 desire of Paul was to bring salvation to all he could reach, the reason he kept pushing forward to the end. Once he brought that salvation he kept in contact preaching sound doctrine to guide the born-again in Grace while following Christ. The reason why he told the...

    Two Righteousnesses

How can it be that Mr. Philpot believes that only a certain number have access to what he has so eloquently spoken.?

    The Comforter

If you didn't know Mr. Philpot was a 5 point Calvinist, you wouldn't know of his misguided view of sovereign grace he mentions here.

    Question for Baptists

The Pope did it, he doesn't want you to see such things. The Catholics say the Pope knows everything, there's your proof!

    Question for Baptists

LOL, none of us can argue with that! You have a very good point. It wouldn't be that way if there wasn't that fella called the Devil, Satan. There was a time when the people in the 1st century were "in one accord." Those days are gone for now, but not forever. Christ will one day bring back...

    According to Faith

It seems to me that every time Paul used the word "faith" or a derivative of it "believe, believed, believes, etc" he is speaking directly of the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ. Mainly what Christ did for us through the Cross.

    Question for Baptists

I had no problems, it's there. This guy worked for the priests all over the world for 35 years. He said every priest he worked for told him not to read the Bible, it's to confusing, if he had any questions to ask him.

    Question for Baptists

The Apostolic tradition can be whatever the RCC wants it to be.

    Grace and Peace

It was made known to all men, it has appeared. It was there for everyone.

    Question for Baptists

No I wouldn't do that to you, mate. This guy was with the Church 35 years. I just watched it, no problems.

Jeeze… I wonder why ‘Shifty’ Shif is on the enemy list?

Yea, I remember when he ignored me, I think you remember too.

Jeeze… I wonder why ‘Shifty’ Shif is on the enemy list?

Pencil neck is on the enemy list for continuing to push the Russian collusion lie well after it was proven by an investigation to have no merit. He still says Trump is guilty and has no proof after the world has been turned upside down to find it.

    Grace and Peace

Or does "all" here also mean "some" when using the Calvinist dictionary.

    Grace and Peace

I wonder if Mr. Philpot is speaking of the Grace that has been offered to all men, that Paul spoke of? Titus 2:11 "For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,"

Did Jesus suffer God's wrath instead of us?

It's a rodeo circus with these Calvinists!

Did Jesus suffer God's wrath instead of us?

I don't see how you could get God pleading with Calvinists from that. Calvin and his theory came about 1500 years later.
