    What did Barnabas see?

In Acts 11 the Church at Jerusalem had just discovered that Gentiles could be saved. This was the mystery Paul spoke of that was hidden from man, that God has chosen the Gentiles for salvation. Up to this point the Jews believed only a Jew could be saved. There were some who went about...

    Justification/ Man-Made Laws

This is why Peter said it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and turned away.

    Justification/ Man-Made Laws

Obviously the Holy Spirit departs from one who falls away from repentance. They cannot be renewed to that repentance, they have committed the ultimate sin of blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is a gift and is present only by your faith in Christ, He operates on the basis of your...

    Justification/ Man-Made Laws

Heb. 6:4-6 "For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance...

    Justification/ Man-Made Laws

It's very simple, what got you saved is the promise of God, Grace through faith in the crucified Christ. If that faith fails and no longer exists, then your salvation no longer exists. Contrary to Calvinism, salvation is conditional. Dozens of verses show us this.

    Total depravity or total inability?

God's Elect are the ones who hear the Gospel being convicted of sin and seeing a need for a Savior, and believing, accepting the call.

    Total depravity or total inability?

Christ said that after He left, (ascended into heaven) he would send the Comforter (the Holy Spirit) and He would teach them all things that Christ had said, and He will convict of sin. The conviction of sin by the Holy Spirit through the hearing of the Gospel is the "Draw" that convicts man of...

    Total depravity or total inability?

@Brightfame52 The word "draw" in John 12:32 is not saying that if Christ is lifted up (crucified) that all men will be literally dragged to Him. It's a metaphor for the spiritual realm of drawing your attention to a certain detail. When the Word of God is given to lost man, the Gospel, He...

    Total depravity or total inability?

Titus 2:11 "For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men," Salvation is available to ALL men, BF. The "Draw" is a spiritual force that comes from the hearing of the Word of God. Remember Paul said, Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.

    Total depravity or total inability?

It's how God intended for man to exercise his free will. No one is in Hell because God chose not to draw them, they are in Hell because they rejected His Son. And there are several ways that can be done!

    Total depravity or total inability?

That is one of the many extremes the Calvinists must take in order to hold on to a dead theory!

    Total depravity or total inability?

BF, have you ever been in a Church service under the anointed preaching and notice someone looking uncomfortable? Maybe they seem unable to get situated in their seat, wiping their face continually, maybe breaking out in a cold sweat? That is the drawing of the Holy Spirit under the conviction...

    PSA vs. a Bloodless Atonement

Calvinists and non-Calvinist do not get to PSA through the same view. There are many differences in the framework. That is probably for another thread.

    Thoughts to Ponder

I think he had the right idea, and why he is so widely accepted by the non-Calvinists.

    Total depravity or total inability?

Christ said, "if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto Me." If the draw is a definite salvation as you suggest, then you must be a Universalist.

    PSA vs. a Bloodless Atonement

It's been my experience in conversation that Covenant Theology and Dispensational Theology both agree on PSA, but with a different look on how they get there. The RCC denies it.

Charlie Kirk debates regarding the Pope & other

Every one of us chooses his own way. Responsibility comes with that choice.

Charlie Kirk debates regarding the Pope & other

The truth is, Cathode, the Blood is applied as Paul describes it in Col. 2, our spiritual rebirth that water baptism symbolizes.
