My two main issues with the NKJV are, singular pronouns are not identified and that it apparently following the NIV translation "over all" in Colossians 1:15. Otherwise the NKJV is currently the primary modern English Bible translation I might recommend.

The KJV without notes does not distinguish which hell is being referred to in any passage.

The NKJV missed the "of thee" after "born" in Luke 1:35.

The text of the handed down Biblical codex came from their original autographs. Known textual variants become at issue. An original reading is to be found between known variants.

Yes, but here "life" should be translated "soul." See Isaiah 53:12. I prefer the KJV. I am not a KJB onlyist. It is my primary Bible translation. I became a preferred KJVer in 1968. KJV onlyism has never made good sense to me. If you are willing to discuss this, I would love to.
