Who will answer with a yes or no?

No. If one is 'of God' then one is not 'of the devil'.

Who will answer with a yes or no?

Wow, Van, have you flipped and come to the 'other side'?

Who will answer with a yes or no?

...one is 'of God', in lieu of: 44 Ye are of [your] father the devil, and the lusts of your father it is your will to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and standeth not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and...

Who will answer with a yes or no?

Your's is the garbage of Vanology. Your system has the creature initiating salvation by choosing to believe, and then God elects whether or not to honor His promise of eternal life to them that believe.

@ChristB4Us- NEVER MIND I'm not into straining gnats. I suppose "I and the Father are one" escapes you.

Who will answer with a yes or no?

Read closely: John 6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him ...and vice versa: 27 All things have been delivered unto me of my Father: and no one knoweth the Son, save the Father; neither doth any know the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son...

What Identifies A Christian As A Baptist?

You'd think something as important as many believe baptism to be that there would be some concise 'how to' instructions for it. If I wanted to build an ark like Noah built, or one like Moses built, or perform any of the ceremonial/sacrificial rites contained in the law I can find concise...

Who will answer with a yes or no?

Van, probably 95% of your threads are blatantly anti-Calvinist and belong on this forum.

Who will answer with a yes or no?

43 Why do ye not understand my speech? [Even] because ye cannot hear my word. 47 He that is of God heareth the words of God: for this cause ye hear [them] not, because ye are not of God. Jn 8 26 But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep. Jn 10 14 Now the natural man receiveth not...

    Finding Qualified Young Pastors

Actually, no, I won't Scarlett. IMO, each Church is autonomous and can decide their practice as they wish. If they so desire to have hard rock bands for their accompaniment, fine. Just don't judge those that prefer acaplla, and so on.....

    Finding Qualified Young Pastors

...on our third day without power, thank God for the Generac... IMO, 'young' is the problem, experience and worldly wisdom surely helps,,,perhaps as much as academic knowledge (NOT Bible knowledge).

Who will answer with a yes or no?

Correct me if I'm wrong @Van. Salvation, according to Vanology, begins with a person's will/choice/decision to believe/put their faith in Christ and then God chooses whether or not to credit their belief/faith as righteousness. Is that the sequence that you espouse? God chooses whether or not...

Who will answer with a yes or no?

<sigh> The whole premise of Romans 9 is "Salvation is of the LORD"', building upon the purpose of God according to HIS election, NOT that of the creature's.
