    NFL Tie Breakers

I will just say the NFL moved in the right direction by not letting the first team that gets the ball win by a kicking a field goal. But I think that even if the first team to possess the ball scores a touchdown, the other team should still get one chance to match or exceed/win by those points...

    The law

8 1/2 of the "Ten Commandments" are repeated for New Testament Christians. The sabbath day is not required. And in the second commandment, worshiping idols is still forbidden, and expounded to include "the good things of this world." But making any likeness of anything has no blanket No to it...

Date for the flood. There are probably better activities to arrange a date for than a flood.

    "Happy ________ in heaven!"

In the last few days, the deaths of John Madden, Betty White, and Dan Reeves and have become the subjects of a lot of discussions. And as usual, there are many statements along the lines of "Happy heavenly birthday" and "Have a good time watching the Super Bowl from heaven." Is this something...

~Sigh~ It's crazy here in Louisiana today.

Sorry. I thought a statement brought up in conversation was open to a question.

~Sigh~ It's crazy here in Louisiana today.

It can be like that here north of Dallas. I saw the blue norther coming yesterday, then the temperature dropped about 12 degrees in an hour, and down to 19 last night from the mid 60's early yesterday afternoon. But one question about your disease analysis. By "one reason why people here catch...

    Dumb jokes only

The differences between Jesus and Santa Claus: Santa Claus leaves us with his presents; Jesus never leaves us without his presence. Santa Claus rides a fleeting sleigh without death; Jesus slays fleeting death without a ride. Santa Claus fills your stocking according to the spirit of one...

    Girl Scout Cookies

I don't think I have ever bought any before, though a very few times I have eaten some. But January is normally my most rigid month to endeavor to eat right, and for that reason alone I'm sure I won't buy any.

The Mark - Tattoo or Chip?

    2021 Army - Navy Game

I didn't see any of the game. A long nap was the reason for most of that. I do usually like to see at least some of it, as I'm still kind of a fan of running option football, which was so prevalent when I first was able to really understand much of the game.

The Blessed Virgin St. Mary the Mother of God.

While Jesus was saying these things, one of the women in the crowd raised her voice and said to Him, “Blessed is the womb that carried You, and the breasts at which You nursed!” But He said, “On the contrary, blessed are those who hear the word of God and follow it” [Luke 11:27-29].

The Blessed Virgin St. Mary the Mother of God.

Who existed before all things? God or Mary? And if you're going to "reiterate" anything, be sure you have a sick sack handy. Corporal presence in the eucharist ... if the wine literally becomes blood, it is forbidden to drink it by the apostles' decrees in Acts 15.

Is all of Mark inspired by God?

No, there's not such instruction or declaration of that. But Mark 16:17-18 does say "These signs will accompany those who have believed: in My name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues; they will pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not harm them...

Is all of Mark inspired by God?

Try drinking a deadly poison to see if you survive. That will confirm or deny at least that part.
