I understand that is the point you are trying to make so why would you not apply that to a convicted murderer? Or a war? Or anything. He will be judged by the Lord just like all of us. He is capable of receiving Gods grace just as much as anyone.

A gracious view for sure and you are a gracious person in general Jon. I just feel that the idea that things didn’t have the potential to go south is a historically poor choice. No one can control a mob. Timing yes but this didn’t have to happen.

The “government” is behind this is a thing that is very broadly said. I don’t even know what I’m being asked here or what you’d like me to address. And it’s too late to be drinking coffee! You’ll never get to sleep!
