    Charles Spurgeon not only drank beer and wine but also smoked to the glory of God. I hate cigarettes but how is a Cegar? Anyone here smoke? It's not good for you in excess but perhaps here and there would be okay.

    I drink sodas as well and prefer them to a beverage. A beverage is nice to have on occasion.

    Yes the puritans as well as the Pilgrims drank alcohol. They in fact loved their beer and wine. All my ideas taken from the book "Drinking with Calvin and Luther a history of alcohol in the church by Jim West.

    I guess it works both ways. Teetotalers judge me and I judge them. We should not be like this.

    If they do not want to drink then they do not have too. I just wish people would stop preaching teetotalism.
