Have you used the time that He gave you wisely?

Me too. Surely everybody knows I'm not a wise guy.

Can anyone please explain this passage?

Who is "we?" Those who kept them all before? I endeavor to keep 8 .1/2 of those commandments, as revealed in the NT. The sabbath is not required [Romans 14:5-6; Colossians 2:16], and in the second commandment, the command not to make any likeness of anything is not repeated, or it would rule...

Can anyone please explain this passage?

You need to be more specific. It is self-evident that many people who refer to Jesus as Lord do not really regard him as Lord. And many will claim to have done great things in his name, but their motives were other than glorifying him-- think televangelists, for one example. So what...

    "Happy Birthday in Heaven, ....."

Based on emotional attachment--and denial. It could be that we, who believe and push the gospel, become the unbelievers to those think of heaven only at such times. And besides feeling attacked, they also express that type of thought that if heaven is not what they want it to be like-- meaning...

    "Happy Birthday in Heaven, ....."

Another one of these 'wishes' just casually appeared on my Facebook page, this time about a celebrity. While I don't think anyone in heaven knows what we're doing or saying-- it seems to me it would cause too much grief-- this seems to becoming more widespread. I can't regard it as my...

Do you like having polls on BB

Yes, I like them-- generally. Like any thread without a poll, I can certainly have no interest in the subject. But I have never stopped missing the old poll system we had here a long time ago, in which we could ask multiple questions about the same topic and subtopcis.

Exactly what could he have done for that unknown soldier? And what can he do for the japs?

Do you believe God today recognizes 66 (and only 66) books in the canon of scripture?

So divinely inspired writing says a prophecy was fulfilled that was not divinely inspired. Perhaps the fulfillment thereof was divinely inspired, but the canonical writings still contain a noninspired declarative statement? Ok

Do you believe God today recognizes 66 (and only 66) books in the canon of scripture?

Then you're saying some parts of the canonical writings-- like what I cited-- are uninspired though within the canon.

Christian Dating Service Must Now Include Gay Individuals.

I'm still a member of that group-- have been for years-- but I seldom even go to the site any more, since they redesigned it all en eliminated the Chat Room, which was the part I liked about it. With no direct chat, I have been in the free membership for a long time now, which means you can do...

I didn't check out the video, but a OP like this is nearly always there to creep up on the sabbath.

    Dreams

You've got to be more specific than that. What is the "unique, internal evidence?"

    Dreams

The entire "Canon of Scripture." We accept it as such because somebody says that's what it is; quite parallel to when somebody claims a dream or vision is from God. In either case, we did not determine ourselves if it is from God, but we took somebody's (or many somebody's) word for it.

    Dreams

If we have no need for dreams/visions because we have the completed Canon of scripture-- the chief argument against them-- then we are still accepting messages that are from God *because somebody says it is*.

I can't get the website to come up either, and it says the domain is expired and awaiting renewal But a map comes up on a google search and it shows 3-- Mt. Pleasant, Pittsburgh, and Henderson. And no, we don't have one here north of Dallas. I don't know if anybody is interested, but here is a...

OK, I said MP because I knew they still had Herschels's and there's such a connection between there and here where I live. Our DQ used to be more Herschels than DQ because they used the same menu board and they didn't go by the advertised specials for many years. After a tragic event HW became...

Every time I'm asked that I say "It's good for the price." The price is one dollar for all you wish to sit in there and drink. And it is about as good coffee as any counter service place. ed. The price is actually $1.02, making it $1.10 with tax. But there is a senior discount of 10%, meaning...
