White Nationalists Are Ecstatic About Jeff Sessions’ Nomination

But you haven't shown that Sessions is a "white nationalist." Neither have you commented on the facts that show Sessions fought for civil rights, and ensured a KKK member received--not just sentenced with, but followed through and ensured the sentence was carried out--the death penalty for...

Does being too rigid impact the gospel?

Yep, I tend to get a little unreasonable when someone says I've told a lie, but then can't back up their accusation, nor will they apologize for impugning my integrity. So yes, RSR, maybe this thread should be closed.

White Nationalists Are Ecstatic About Jeff Sessions’ Nomination

Anyone else notice, or would like to comment about CTB not re-appearing in this thread since it was pointed out that Sessions actually did things against the KKK and supported civil rights? Guess it doesn't fit the narrative?

White Nationalists Are Ecstatic About Jeff Sessions’ Nomination

KY and Benjamin are right. The term is being bandied about as a description of "most" people who voted for Trump. It's dishonest and deplorable; but hey, if you can't honestly win a discussion, then you might as well smear, lie, and insult your opponenrs, right?

    The Holy Spirit in Evangelism

Obedience should never be the motivation for preaching. If one preaches simply so they can say, "I did what you told us to do," then you might as well hide your talent in the ground....

Does being too rigid impact the gospel?

RSR - heard and understood; but I've been accused of telling a lie. It was a simple request; show me what I said that was untrue, or apologize. Hasn't happened yet. As for apologizing to John--of course I would. Show me where I've wronged you, and I will apologize.

Does being too rigid impact the gospel?

Where exactly did I lie? You said you never asked for advice about alcohol; I did not say anything about you drinking in front of others, merely pointed out that you had asked for advice and the opinions of others, and described the generics of what you did. You don't see me accusing you of...

Does being too rigid impact the gospel?

Ah, but you did, about a year or two ago. And you repeatedly received advice talking about being a stumbling block to others; to which you consistently replied that it was only a Mike's, and you didn't get drunk; thereby doing exactly what Rolfe said you do. Back to ignore.

Source, please. I've done a couple of quick searches, and can't find this.

White Nationalists Are Ecstatic About Jeff Sessions’ Nomination

CTB - while you're buying into the same sort of smear campaign Sessions faced in 1986, you might consider: "For instance, he was one of the only Republican senators to support Eric Holder's nomination for attorney general. As a U.S. Attorney he filed several cases to desegregate schools in...

    Prayer Request

My apologies for not updating this one. He's alive; did go into mental treatment for a few weeks. He's out now, but currently homeless (according to his last message). Although he contacted me via email to update me, he hasn't responded to any of my messages since then.

    Who did I vote for?

Ah, I understand now. My apologies; I didn't initially realize you were going for satire.

    Deer Season

LOL. Been sitting out on Saturdays since bow season started Oct 1. However, game cameras are only catching deer during the wee hours in the middle of the night; and I'm not into poaching.

    Who did I vote for?

Does that make you feel better about yourself?

    Who did I vote for?

And the Hillary supporters say that it means for sure that I turned my back on women's rights. We'll see, won't we?

    Who did I vote for?

You're a funny guy. Keep it up.

    Who did I vote for?

You mean, just as we're all gonna live with the consequences of this election?

    Who did I vote for?

Salty, Those 11 people could just as easily be swayed to change their vote for Hillary, giving her a win by 21 votes instead of only 10. The problem with your statement is that it's true for YOUR side; BUT, it's also true for CTB's side. It's just not true for MY side. Neither candidate...

    Who did I vote for?

Or Hillarite. Or Clintonite. Yeesh, what do you call a Hillary supporter? (um, that probably opened up a whole new line of joke responses....)

    Who did I vote for?

This may have already been addressed somewhere, and I just missed it. Since I didn't vote for Hillary or Trump, but Hillary lost, does that mean I voted for Trump? 'Cause, ya know, I was being told that I was voting for Hillary before the election...so I just wanna clarify who I actually voted...
