    All are saved by grace.

That is not true. They are two different words in the Greek. I realize it is probably easier for you to commit intellectual suicide and just ignore the fact that the Greek doesn't support your claims. I think I will stick to the Bible and reject your false teaching.
  2. GoodTidings

    All are saved by grace.

No, that is not biblical and you are in serious error when it comes to something as basic as salvation. The Bible teaches that we are to place faith in Christ first then we are saved.
  3. GoodTidings

    All are saved by grace.

You need to read the Greek: "Faithulness" (pistis) is what Paul is referring to. "Faith (pistos) is not a fruit of the Spirit.
  4. GoodTidings

    All are saved by grace.

Not saving faith. That is not the "faith" that is being referred to in Galatians 5
  5. GoodTidings

    All are saved by grace.

They are not born again before they say yes to Jesus. Again, this is not sound doctrine. This is just something you are making up.
  6. GoodTidings

    All are saved by grace.

Yes, but that does not address what I said. You cannot be born again prior to having saving faith. Sorry, but you are pushing a theology that is not rooted in sound doctrine.
  7. GoodTidings

    All are saved by grace.

Saying yes to the Gospel is what is required. Placing one's faith in Jesus when one hears the Gospel is how we are saved. You are setting up an idea that is not expressed in the Bible. The faith by which we are saved is a different category than the faith spoken of as a fruit of the Spirit.
  8. GoodTidings

    All are saved by grace.

You are putting the cart before the horse. You are not born again and then believe.
  9. GoodTidings

    All are saved by grace.

The indwelling of the Holy Spirit is subsequent to the moment we are born again. We are not indwelt by the Spirit prior to salvation.
  10. GoodTidings

    All are saved by grace.

But that does not mean that an unbeliever cannot exercise saving faith when they trust in Jesus. We are saved by grace through faith. So a measure of faith MUST exist prior to salvation to be saved through it.

    All are saved by grace.

People reject him all of the time. It is not a bad reflection on Him. It is a reflection on the person rejecting him and having hardened their own heart against Him. They have rejected him to their own peril.
  12. GoodTidings

    All are saved by grace.

But that is not analogous to believing the Gospel. You can believe and not act on it. Belief isn't faith. We are saved by faith, not by belief. You can believe in Jesus, but not believe Jesus. You cannot tell a former Atheist that he believed the whole time, or else he would not...

    All are saved by grace.

We act based on faith because faith is operative in nature. But belief doesn't equate with faith. Belief is not operative nature. I know sinners who believe in Jesus, who know they are going to Hell, but love their sin too much to put their faith in Jesus. They don't dispute the Gospel...

    All are saved by grace.

Well, again.... Belief is a matter of choice. I choose not to believe I extra-terrestrials. I choose to believe the Bible's account of creation. When the Holy Spirit convicts us with the Gospel, we can respond with belief or rejection.
  15. GoodTidings

    All are saved by grace.

Where do Arminians claim that choosing to believe is a "type of sacrament?" In addition, all belief is the product of making a choice. If you hear the Gospel you can believe it or not. Belief is always a conscious decision.
  16. GoodTidings

    All are saved by grace.

I see. My mistake. You said here, Okay, so believing before choosing to believe is a form of repentance. This is not in the Bible; it appears to be something you have made up. You said in the same quote that it all about how we define repentance, and I pointed out that the Bible only...
  17. GoodTidings

    All are saved by grace.

I am not talking about "choosing to believe." I am addressing your claim that belief is a form of repentance. Are you recanting on that claim?
  18. GoodTidings

    All are saved by grace.

I can accept that belief precedes repentance. I am responding to your claim that belief is a form of repentance. It is not a form of repentance.
  19. GoodTidings

    All are saved by grace.

Belief is not a form of repentance. That premise is not correct. The Bible makes a clear distinction between repentance and belief. Repentance is our response to the Gospel's accusation that we have sinned and stand condemned. Repentance is a change of mind and results in a change of...

    R_U_Scared?

I would also add that the Democrats are all about controlling territory. They seek to infiltrate our schools, churches, the media, entertainment, athletics, the military, etc. We as conservatives are fighting for principles and the rule of law in Constitution. We are fighting for...
