How do science and Scripture relate to each other?

Is that so? Scripture tells us in Genesis 1:1 that "in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." Where does it tell us WHY he did?

    Christ made Sin?

Alright, what does that leave?... God does not create everything that he created as perfect; some are flawed. So how is creating beings, or 'hearts,' that will malfunction not creating the malfunction?

    What does Mormonism teach?

It's been a long time since I 'studied' Mormon doctrines. But some of them really stand out for being so way-out that you don't forget. They believe in a plurality of gods, each with his own universe, and the first step toward becoming a new god is for a boy/man to be faithful to the church and...

    Christ made Sin?

I thought this would be about whether Christ created sin; as he made all things and without him nothing was made that was made. If sin exists, he created it, indicates John 1:3.

    Funeral Hymns

Funeral hymns are about the easiest songs to play on a harmonica, especially "Precious Memories." I doubt if Petra's "Graverobber" has ever attained the status of a funeral song, but it wouldn't be a bad choice.

    Euclidean or nonEuclidean eternity?

This is probably one of those threads seen as a useless insertion of a topic into "theology" that is outside of any such discussion-- and it may be, especially since I have not developed the thought very far and do not have much time to post. Most of us (I think) know that Euclid wrote out the...

    Has Aesop changed his position?

I heard he has accepted new contracts to be the spokesman for both Turtle Wax and Rogaine. Now he has to find a way to 'gracefully' change his position to Reverse Hare Loss.

What happens to a person at bodily death?

I probably can't give a 'good' definition,.as scripture doesn't. Jesus does say God can destroy both body and soul in he'll (gihenna?). Spirit seems to mean respirate-- one is physically alive as long as one does it. but there is nothing about destroying the spirit after death.

Is healthcare a right or a privilege II

I may not know as much about the particular point, but it's more obvious that "compelling" is a function of government. G compels you to pay it money or go to jail, compels minors of a certain age to attend school (unless, of course, it decides they are unworthy and then compels them to stay...

What happens to a person at bodily death?

There have been threads recently about 'going to heaven,' "soul sleep," the millenial kindgom, and the eternal torment of the wicked. This is a poll to see what Christians [at least self-identified thus] think about this in the simplicity of the poll function allowed on this site.
