    Does God love the lost?

You're right, we should gamble. Eternity is a gamble

    Does God love the lost?

I'd say throwing in glory into the works does not help you; it muddies the water even more for it suggests eternal life/damnation equally glorify God, and if this is so, both should be celebrated and perhaps longed for in equal measure God does not love the lost as a Father loves the Son. Thank...

    Does God love the lost?

That's a fact. What's not is the claim that choosing and not choosing men demonstrate His love

    Does God love the lost?

Such prayers are pointless since he chose whoever he would save before the foundation of earth....unless you imply your prayers can change his choices

    Does God love the lost?

I believe this. But if we are not drawn to God in equal measure as some propagate (general global call vs effectual limited call), those who miss on the effectual call can't possibly say God loves them, especially if God's love is demonstrated by His effectual call

    Does God love the lost?

I'm not a universalist. Why does it give you such immense joy to distract by stereotypes and tags? Is it to make me waste time defending myself instead of focusing on the the weight of your response to the subject question?

    Does God love the lost?

You're getting it. There's some degree or dimension of love of God totally absent or not exhibited towards the perishing. And that is what OP is asking. Can the perishing and the saved rightfully claim to be recipients of God's love in equal measure? The answer is no.

    Does God love the lost?

Everything you're saying I'm in agreement. But my point is His love as we know/comprehend it being demonstrated in choosing can't equally be demonstrated in not choosing. That's essentially saying God is Love His choices notwithstanding. And in that case, you can't appeal to His choices to...

    Does God love the lost?

However you define love, two mutually exclusive acts can't point to love. God loves in choosing and He loves for not choosing some. That's pure unadulterated nonsense

    Does God love the lost?

Tags and boxes are no reason

    Does God love the lost?

But He does not love them, right?

    Does God love the lost?

He exercises patience with those He won't adopt? For what reason exactly? Whether He's patient or not they are not getting adoption, they are damned.

    Does God love the lost?

Thank you. God loves all and this is evidenced by the general call to salvation to all but it never saves nobody. Then He effectually calls some and they are saved. The rest, missing out on this are damned. Selectively effectually calling some is evidence that He loves all. How is this? Seems...

    Does God love the lost?

Jesus loves all men ok He offers salvation or gift of salvation to all as a consequence or manifestation of this love. Ok The offer is legitimate; the subjects are well capable of receiving it. Nobody responds to this offer. What happens next, another special and more persuasive offer to some...

    Does God love the lost?

I'm sorry I misunderstood you. By all do you mean those who eventually perish or all men?

    Does God love the lost?

    And then what
  17. Agent47

    Does God love the lost?

So why do some accept the offer while others reject it? I mean of God loves all alike, extends the same offer to all, but some reject it. Why is this? Is it possible to resist God's offer(s)?

    Does God love the lost?

This is the same quagmire you find in Revelation; here it is to distinguish between words Jesus uses as a human as opposed to Divinity whereas in Revelation it is whether a particular passage/item is symbolic or literal. Will we have a literal 1000 years? Who are the 144,000? Why do you rush...

Yes @JonC, I had to pause and replay that sing generally. It corroborates what you say; faith has always pointed to Christ. That's what prophets
