    The Reprobate Calvinist

You did not answer my question. So what is it you see as the OT saints having not received prior to the cross?

I believe that is what you began your last post with....so I guess you are talking about yourself, correct?

    The Reprobate Calvinist

First, I believe it should be apparent that I am anti Calvinism. So your complaining about this adds nothing to the debate, just as you are anti nonCalvinism. Calvinism's version of T is not biblical according to my research of the scriptures. So what is it you see as the OT saints having not...

    The Reprobate Calvinist

These are questions created purely out of the false premise of TULIP's T. How do you agree with this if you believe the OT saints already received all that salvation entails? Or it could be they have a very good understanding of God's eternal plan and those who have embraced TULIP have...

    The Reprobate Calvinist

The Scripture is very clear on this matter. No one was given a new heart until after the works of Jesus Christ were completed. If the OT saints went to heaven and God indwelled them WITHOUT the works of Jesus Christ completed, then there would have been no reason for Jesus Christ to actually...

    The Reprobate Calvinist

You already agreed the New Covenant, which is the New Heart, began post cross. Yes, there is only one way to be saved, by grace alone through faith alone. No one could enter into the presence of God until the New Covenant was implemented. The NT writings makes this very clear. All the OT saints...

    The Reprobate Calvinist

Amen! That is correct. The New Covenant is the New Heart/Regeneration. Thus, Calvinism is destroyed for Calvinism must have the New Heart administered pre-cross less it's doctrines die. Salvation is by Grace Alone through Faith Alone. The New Covenant is Christ in you, born again.

The Papal Pied Piper Will Soon Pay the Piper

Any catholic may answer.... Can you explain to me how a born of God believer, let alone a pope, can not understand no one is saved apart from worshipping Jesus Christ ALONE? "I greet and thank cordially all of you, dear friends belonging to other religious traditions; firstly the Muslims, who...

    The Reprobate Calvinist

Yes. And as your answer declares, the New Covenant did not begin until Pentacost. Thus, the New Heart did not begin until AFTER the death, burial, resurrection and glorification of Jesus Christ. And thus Calvinism crumbles upon the sand it was built upon. Brother Darrell did an outstanding job...

    The Reprobate Calvinist

There you have it Martin. Now here is a man who believes in his own mind that he understands Calvinism perfectly and any who opposes it does not understand it nor is a believer in Jesus Christ at all.

Would this be men like Icon and TC who make many statements to the effect of no belief in TULIP equals no salvation? I have gained 99% of my understanding of Calvinism directly from confessing Calvinist on this very board. Just read TC's post......

    Joel Olstein

How do you know God didn't guide David to get the sword? Are you suggesting David, nor Israel for that matter, didn't need to have any swords to defend himself or Israel? You think David would have lived long without a sword? How about Israel? Should Israel disarm even today? How many of them do...

    The Reprobate Calvinist

Thank you! So attention to all Calvinist, when arguing against men having a freewill choice after the fall, stop using the line "God is Sovereign" as a reason man does not have the freedom to choose life or death. Our disagreement has nothing to do with God being Sovereign or God giving up His...

    The Reprobate Calvinist

What you are doing brother is trying to have it both ways. What I hear over and over again from Calvinist when we speak of freewill is "God is Sovereign". So either you must stick with the God is Sovereign and man never ever had freewill or a Sovereign God can certainly give man a freewill.

So God can foresee Adam sinning and thus providing a solution, but cannot foresee a person having faith and providing a solution?

    The Reprobate Calvinist

In the mind of God everything is in eternity. So did God make Adam sin so He sent Jesus Christ, or did God know Adam would sin so He sent Jesus Christ.

Amen! Now when did this New Covenant begin?

    The Reprobate Calvinist

Excellent teaching brother Darrell! You have raised numerous solid points that would need to be dealt with in this debate. Sadly, we see a response of insults rather than an honest rebuttal. Of course I doubt a constructive rebuttal could be given.... Again, great work actually doing a thorough...

If someone was saved but then turned atheist are they still saved?

You let a very important part out in your statement Thomas. Here is the actual scripture that speaks of being kept by faith.... "Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time." (1Pe1:5) Has nothing to do with YOUR power to keep on believing....

Calvinism's doctrines of grace or the bible's doctrines of grace? We have to be specific for both Cals and non claim the doctrines of grace.
