    Do you love books?

It was about hurt feelings. The fact that he never did actually define his term for JonC is interesting, when you note that he still hasn't defined it but uses it again; while at the same time, derides others for not knowing what it means, presuming that it's because they don't love books or...

Ethical moralism and the New Avengers movie

So Captain America outdid a Christian? Or was outdone by an unbeliever?

Ethical moralism and the New Avengers movie

I've re-read the OP several times, and I can't figure out who the unbeliever with a moralistic background was, who specifically the Christian was, and how the unbeliever outdid the Christian.

Special forces train with cops for house to house raids

SWAT teams have more training and experience with house-to-house searches--which the military frequently finds themselves doing in places like Iraq and Afghanistan.

    Sounds Good

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/personalfinance/comment/11602399/Ban-cash-end-boom-and-bust.html This apparently is already being done in a couple of European countries. Sounds good; but is it?

Ethical moralism and the New Avengers movie

It's not a common term. I'm sure you've already googled it; there's a smattering of books that have used it, but typically it's used as a juxtaposition to religious moralism (as in religious and ethical moralism). If we agree that ethics are derived from a group or culture, and morals are...

12 Year Old Tamir Rice STILL not Buried 5 Months Later

There were definitely funeral services; but the mounting evidence says they decided not to bury him. http://news.yahoo.com/us-boy-shot-police-yet-buried-investigation-drags-194749985.html Edited to add: Frankly, it's weird. The family decided not to bury him, with no indication the police or...

12 Year Old Tamir Rice STILL not Buried 5 Months Later

YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY CORRECT. My apologies However, that article was dated December; the most recent report, from the article I posted a link to, clarifies the family's lawyer saying the boy was NOT buried.

Feel free to re-read the article; I just did, and it does not say anything about a burial.

12 Year Old Tamir Rice STILL not Buried 5 Months Later

Upon further research, the boy has NOT been buried. http://www.cleveland.com/court-justice/index.ssf/2015/05/mother_of_tamir_rice_not_homel.html

12 Year Old Tamir Rice STILL not Buried 5 Months Later

Um, guys? 777's article says there were funeral services; it does NOT say he was buried. It says the boy was laid to rest (which most of us would infer to mean he was buried; but the reporter for this article took most of their material from NBC reports, which tells me the reporter put this...

    Sharia law comes to Walmart?

Well, that's where the hyperbole thing comes in. Because he jumped to a conclusion, and didn't bother to check the facts, he created a title for his article that was conjecture and speculation. And thus, because he exaggerated what was happening at Walmart, and then later realized his mistake...

    Sharia law comes to Walmart?

I fully believe that the title of the article changed between the time you started this thread, and the point at which I found the edits. Here's my problem with the article: The author jumped to a conclusion. So what if the boy's name wasn't American? How do we know the boy didn't convert to...
