    There Were No Winners

Consider this, for example: Charlottesville cops refused to protect synagogue from armed neo-Nazis Still convinced that if Antifa had stayed away, all would have been well? Nothing is ever 'well' when Nazis march.

    There Were No Winners

If you can't see that Naziism is a very different and far more dangerous animal than hotheads in Antifa and BLM then, heck yes, that is a major league problem

McConnell speaks after Trump's wild press conference: 'There are no good neo-Nazis'

Nothing does. Naziism is anathema to me. I would be in at least two positions on the Nazi-KKK hit list for the gas chambers/ hanging/ however they choose to despatch their victims these days (see Niemoller for the typical list).

If you can't see that then that is part of the problem.

Um...because Duke and his kind are enabled and empowered by it. Can you not see that?

Trump issues shocking statement about ‘alt-left,’ their involvement in Charlottesville terror attack

You'll find that we waged a pretty successful war against terrorism in Northern Ireland from 1969 to 1997 that forced the terrorists to the negotiating table and to renounce terrorism. The other difference is that the far right are not armed here unlike in your country. Thus they are not such...

Trump issues shocking statement about ‘alt-left,’ their involvement in Charlottesville terror attack

Here's how conservatives don't tie themselves to racism: Fascism is not Conservatism, and conservatives must make that clear

Trump issues shocking statement about ‘alt-left,’ their involvement in Charlottesville terror attack

I thankfully haven't fought in any wars. Neither did my father. That's because my grandfathers by defeating Naziism, and their generation's post-war settlement in Europe, including NATO and the EU, ensured we did not have to. I hoped that my children would not have to either. But, sadly...

Apples and oranges. There are more effective ways to reduce abortion. Options to reduce unrepentant Naziism are more limited sadly. (Although dancing the Tyburn jig on the end of a rope in a Nuremberg gymnasium seemed to do the trick in the 1940s.)

You're responsible for not standing up to them. "Evil prospers where good men do nothing." If you ever wondered what you would have done in the Holocaust or Civil Rights era, you're doing it now. Niemoller is particularly instructive here.
