So you're saying that the Sabbath High Day fell on Sat. the weekly Sabbath. That would mean Sat. was the High Day and the weekly Sabbath combined. Oh Boy will you have a difficult time proving that!

    Exact moment you were saved???

LOL, we know, but we also know you're wrong!

I agree! Now, did Christ die on the preparation day before the High Day Sabbath or Sat. the weekly Sabbath? John said it was the High Day, and then the weekly Sabbath on Sat. was yet to come.

We talked about that earlier in this thread. There are 7 High Day Sabbaths annually that can fall on any day of the week. The first of the 7 High Days is "the first day of Unleavened Bread" that takes place at Passover the week Christ was crucified.

John was referring to the first day of Unleavened Bread, the High Day that week. Christ was crucified on the preparation day before this Sabbath day began. And then there was also the Sat. weekly Sabbath.

You can rest assured if the Lord wanted you to know for sure, we would all know.

Neither does anyone else. That is the problem, this group says this and the other says that. But no one knows for sure.

In post #78 where do you place the High Day Sabbath? There were 2 Sabbaths that week. The first day of Unleavened Bread, and the Saturday weekly Sabbath.

The desolate land of Israel becomes like the Garden of Eden

LOL, yes, it would seen we still have some wheat to thrash. But let's don't do it today, 'ol Charlie had a rough weekend and needs some rest.

The desolate land of Israel becomes like the Garden of Eden

If Israel still had the temple they would be able to sacrifice according to the Law of Moses. It would be mockery of Christ in their offering of sacrifices as a testament that the Messiah would come, when He has already come.

The desolate land of Israel becomes like the Garden of Eden

Yes, I agree. Plus Israel cannot follow the instructions of the Law to sacrifice any longer. The Lord put an end to the false sacrifices that mocked Christ.

The desolate land of Israel becomes like the Garden of Eden

The 2 verses I was referring to were Micah 3:12 "Therefore shall Zion for your sake be plowed as a field, and Jerusalem shall become heaps, and the mountain of the house as the high places of the forest." And Jeremiah 26:18 "Micah the Morasthite prophesied in the days of Hezekiah king of...

When John said it was the preparation he meant it was the exact time of the day, around 3-5PM on the preparation day that the Passover meal was to be prepared. It had to be done by sunset and all work had to cease, the High Day was beginning.

You're having some problems understanding and I've tried to help, but then again I've never been a very good teacher.

Ok, you can believe that or you can believe this. John 19:31 "The Jews therefore, because it was the preparation, that the bodies should not remain upon the cross on the sabbath day, (for that sabbath day was an high day,) besought Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be...

    Exact moment you were saved???

Christ was under the Law and taught under the Law revealing its true depth, whereas the Jews had lost their way. Better be careful of the concept Christ taught and understand what it actually meant. But that's why Paul was given about a third of the NT Scripture to explain it to us.

    Exact moment you were saved???

I've always described the Book of Romans the most important Book in the Bible. Paul tells us who we are to God, where we have been, where we are, and where we are going. And only Paul gives us this vital information. It's a Book I have read many more times than any other Book, I have no...
