Trump issues shocking statement about ‘alt-left,’ their involvement in Charlottesville terror attack

No. When one group's 'free expression' has caused the deaths of 6 million Jews, laid waste to vast swathes of Europe includinf British cities, there is no comparison. Trump is at best playing the role of Hindenburg here....and we know how that ended.

Yes, it means all you have are childish insults and no arguments, as usual. <Yawn.> Now, get off you keyboard, put yer money where your dog collar and Reverend title is and go and join an anti-Nazi protest like your fellow-clergy did on Saturday. And I promise I will never ever disagree with...

    Everyone Happy Now ?

Er...no I didn't. I asked you to condemn Naziism. A false report then. I didn't question your specific salvation either. I questioned whether those who weren't prepared to make a stand against the Nazis should call themselves Christian. I didn't mention either of you. However, you seem to think...

    Everyone Happy Now ?

As far as I am concerned, if Christians are not prepared to stand and march against Naziism, then they are no Christians. It's as simple as that. Those advocating otherwise should be ashamed of themselves!

You are part of the problem with posts like that.

    Everyone Happy Now ?

No, out of fear. Nazis dropped bombs on our cities and exterminated relatives of friends of mine. If people here aren't prepared to stand up to them, then shame on them. Same to those who say "They're all as bad as each other." No they're bloody well not! Shame on you and the horse you rode in on!

The Nazi bit. You are sleepwalking into a far-right dictatorship

    Everyone Happy Now ?

Statements like that giving moral equivalence are a massive, massive part of the problem. True Christians need to stand up against the demonic evil of Naziism. We will see who the true Church is in the coming weeks...

    Everyone Happy Now ?

There you go again, giving dangerous moral equivalence to the group to whom you refer. Germany December 1932

It matters a lot. His initial statement was weaselly and didn't condemn Naziism. He had his chance then. Even his own party reps censured him for that.

He wouldn't name names until yesterday. Why?

    Everyone Happy Now ?

Indeed. Scary times on both counts. "Even so, come, Lord Jesus."

    Everyone Happy Now ?

Then will you call out the Nazis as evil.

    Everyone Happy Now ?

And therein lies the problem. Germany, December 1932 all over again...

Germany December 1932. You are living it

    Everyone Happy Now ?

Nope. He just condemned the violence and implied everyone was to blame. Not the Nazis. He didn't speak out against Naziism. Massive difference.
  18. M

    Everyone Happy Now ?

"You keep using that word. I do not hink it means what you think it means." Only yesterday did he condemn the Nazis. Before then he wasn't prepared to condemn them and distance himself from them. That speaks volumes.

    Everyone Happy Now ?

Again, you're giving moral equivalence for the two groups under the fig leaf of 'legality'. History tells us that is a big and very dangerous mistake.
