    Repeating themes in Revelation

Hopefully I'm explaining this in a way you can understand. The point is that all the dispensations in the progression of time have and are being fulfilled in chronological order. The Book of Rev. is no exception.

When did Jesus become the Son of God?

That is precisely the point I've been trying to make concerning understanding the Trinity.

    Repeating themes in Revelation

Something else for you to consider, but I may be getting ahead the ball game here, but intend to explain it in a coming thread. There are 7 dispensations in history, and there are 7 letters to the Churches in Rev. The 7 letters to the Churches is the 6th dispensation in history. The 7...

    Repeating themes in Revelation

The repeating themes that you are talking about are the overlaps of the continuation of what's taking place. The sequence is from the day of John the Church Age running it's course to the New Heaven and the New Earth. It's given in chronological order.

    Repeating themes in Revelation

When Rev. 4 begins the Church Age has run it's course and the True Church, those in Christ are Raptured out of this world. John tells us what he see's in chp. 5 immediately after the Rapture, and now beginning in chp. 6 the wrath of God is beginning as Christ open the seals.

    Repeating themes in Revelation

Canadyjd, in Rev. 4:1 when John seen a door open in Heaven and heard a trumpet sounding as if it were talking with him, that said come up hither and I will show you the things that must be hereafter, that is the Rapture taking place in the sequence of Revelation.

    Repeating themes in Revelation

Canadyjd, everything in Rev. is a continuous time period revealed as it unfolds, it's seen by John in spirit of what's to come. Even the 7 letters are are a continuous time period leading up to the Great Tribulation that begins in Chp. 6. They represent the Church from the day of John until the...

How to Improve Our English Translations of Scripture

I can tell you wht this ol' dog thinks. All these modern versions have placed doubt on the the Word of God, not only among believers but also to the lost of this world. Everyone can find fault in it and have recomendations to correct it. This will come down to individual accountabilty at the...

How to Improve Our English Translations of Scripture

What possesses man to rewrite the Scripture according to another text when the Lord has given us what He wanted us to have 400 years ago shortly after the Reformers put us back on track?

When did Jesus become the Son of God?

I think He could have been the Son of God in eternity past in the relationship with the Father that we can't understand, and then was revealed the Son of God to humanity in a way we can understand. I really don't know.

When did Jesus become the Son of God?

John said the Word was with God, a separate individual that created the universe and made the Father known to man. What He was before He was manifest in the flesh I don't know. It's one of the mysteries of the Trinity.

The 82nd Airborne is being deployed to the Middle East

I was talking to my buddy yesterday in West Virginia, we served together 4 years active duty in the 82nd and in the same company. His son is now a captain in the 82nd and he told me he is in the deployment.

The 82nd Airborne is being deployed to the Middle East

Gen. Keane said that Russia is helping Iran with drone technology, and couldn't talk about what will be done on that. Right now he said the US fighter pilots were taking down the drones.

The 82nd Airborne is being deployed to the Middle East

I like Gen. Jack Keane's take on anything military. He's the chairman of the institute for the study of war. He said if they keep at it as is it will take 3 more weeks and Iran is completely done, unless they surrender before then. Ground troops won't be necessary if their new leadership will...

Are There Two Types of Believers; Established and Not Established?

That's a tough way to lay it out with 2 types of believes. There are some good arguments for both sides. If it's true faith in Christ it only takes a faith the size of a grain of mustard seed. Some will have a stronger faith than others and some will produce fruit 30, 60, and 90, but they are...

    Repeating themes in Revelation

Ok, I can do that. Dispensationalism is not that difficult to understand once you understand the main focus is on a literal interpretation of the Scripture, even through Revelation with it's many symbols. It's starts getting tough to understand with all the results of the literal translation as...

    Repeating themes in Revelation

Yes, through speaking with Preterists years ago is how I learned of the Covenant Lawsuit theory.

    Repeating themes in Revelation

It would help me to know if this framework you are presenting is in the Preterist view? That way I will know where we're going.
