Did Jesus cease being God's Son on the Cross?

    Except in Galatians 3:13.

Did Jesus cease being God's Son on the Cross?

Because it was God's will, and sometimes God requires that we just be humble enough to accept that. Hebrews 10:7 - Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God. All this thinking that God was constrained by any necessity or anything but love...

Did Jesus cease being God's Son on the Cross?

Not just death, but the death of the Cross, which is a judgement and a punishment. Jesus was judged as a sinner and punished, by God, as a sinner. Galatians 3:13 Deuteronomy 21:22, 23 It's quite clear.

Did Jesus cease being God's Son on the Cross?

Did Jesus cease being God's Son on the Cross?

About Martin Luther's statement, think of the heresies he was confronting and the violent reactions he faced. He was declared an outlaw and an heretic by an anti-christ church, and had to be hidden away for a year or almost certainly would have been burned. I thnk considering that we'd...

Did Jesus cease being God's Son on the Cross?

LOL. Let's make the example fit the actual crime a little better, shall we? Your drunken, unthankful wife neglects you, your house, sleeps with other men and bears their children, but stabs yours to death. What would justice be? Also, an answer to this question would be cool.

What God did on Earth's first fourth day.

"Shop light." LOL. And even if it wasn't, plants can survive a day or two without the right kind of light. But just accepting what is written is no problem. But the process of growth was accomplished in one day, which never happens in nature, and yet some people have a problem with the light...
  8. Aaron

What God did on Earth's first fourth day.

What do you mean "outside of God?" Are you presuming God existed in a space bigger than himself? That there is room somewhere to spare? Somewhere HIs light couldn't reach? If to you, the omniscience of God means His creation can have a knowledge of something that He does not, then does the...
  9. Aaron

What God did on Earth's first fourth day.

Except for the fact that you're imposing your imagination on the text.
  10. Aaron

What God did on Earth's first fourth day.

They were there indeed, meaning they were there in the beginning. They weren't made in the beginning. They were made whenever their realm was made, which is not part of this creation.
  11. Aaron

Did Jesus cease being God's Son on the Cross?

What is meant by the shedding if blood? Are you saying Jesus could have simply pricked His finger and dropped some blood on the Mercy Seat, that sins would have been forgiven?
