Moses or Christ? Paul's Reply to Dispensational Error

You unwillingness to confront — why we have an Old Testament and a New Testament.

    Pentecostal vs Charismatic

I am glad you had a good experience and delicious food at your church. But I evaluate a church based on scripture. I cannot attend a church with unbiblical practices. If you feel your church’s practices regarding speaking in tongues are biblical, that’s your privilege to think so, but I have a...

The Close of the Canon Holy Scripture.

God ordained apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers to serve the church. Some of the greatest biblical teachers are found in the Early Church Fathers and Philokalia desert monks, who were much closer in time to Jesus and the first apostles. They are far more reliable than many...

    Today is Earth Day

Christians should be at the forefront of Earth Day celebrations, since we know the One who created the earth. Churches do special things for Mothers Day and Fathers Day, but not all moms and dads have been good to their children. Some parents have even tried to stop their children from...

Dispensational Truth - In Time & Eternity

Sometimes the word “church” in the New Testament refers to one specific local assembly, but other times it means the universal church comprised of all members of the body of Christ. Here are two verses that refer to the church as the entire body of Christ throughout history, not one local...

Moses or Christ? Paul's Reply to Dispensational Error

Your personal attack is not necessary. Nor is shouting with bold text. Your quotes are about the church, the body of Christ, which is different from national Israel. This is why we have an Old Testament and a New Testament.

She did not keep silent. She spoke in alleged tongues. 1 Corinthians 14:13, 16 13 Wherefore let him that speaketh in an unknown tongue pray that he may interpret. 16 Else when thou shalt bless with the spirit, how shall he that occupieth the room of the unlearned say Amen at thy giving of...

    Pentecostal vs Charismatic

I Corinthians 14:27,28 If any man speak in an unknown tongue, let it be by two, or at the most by three, and that by course; and let one interpret. But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church; and let him speak to himself, and to God.

The Close of the Canon Holy Scripture.

I have found great value in some of the Early Church Fathers and the teachings of the desert monks as compiled in the Philokalia and Book of the Elders.

    Pentecostal vs Charismatic

I am sorry but this sounds like made up gibberish, not any kind of language. And I hear the pastor or someone laughing at her! I used to speak in tongues for many years, but I gave it up because it seemed fake. I think the gift of tongues can exist, but I have never heard anything that sounded...

Moses or Christ? Paul's Reply to Dispensational Error

There actually is a difference between Israel and the church. That’s why we have an Old Testament and a New Testament.

Moses or Christ? Paul's Reply to Dispensational Error

That is two different foreknowings. There are many foreknowings in the Bible. In your quotes, the first quote, from me, is foreknowing the people God chose through Abraham, I.e., Israel. The second foreknowing is the people chosen in Christ, I.e., the body of Christ, all Christians.

The Close of the Canon Holy Scripture.

If “that which is perfect” means the canon of scripture, so that all the things that are “in part” are done away, you wouldn’t know it, because knowledge has vanished away.

    Actual Sins of Sodom

If you asked most Christians what the sins of Sodom we’re, they would likely say homosexuality. But that sin is not specifically mentioned, though it is alluded to, with the word “abomination.” This does not mean that same sex romance is okay, but it means we need to look closely at the...

    Pentecostal vs Charismatic

That “seed money” scam really annoys me. Just looking at the freaks who preach that mammonist simony ought to be enough to repulse people, they act like idiots. The pastors live in mansions while preaching about a homeless guy named Jesus. Our Savior walked on foot, they fly in jets.

    I've moderated just a little.

On the internet, nobody knows you’re a quarrelsome bully…until they engage in conversation with you.

    Pentecostal vs Charismatic

One thing I agree with is Name It and Claim It when it means when you have a need, find a promise in scripture, then fix your faith on it. John 14:13,14 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I...

    Pentecostal vs Charismatic

The Trinity (EFS/ERAS): Wayne Grudem argues that the Son is eternally submissive to the Father, a view critics say undermines the Trinity's equality. This was heavily debated, with many theologians labeling it a 21st-century innovation rather than historic orthodoxy. Gender Roles &...

Moses or Christ? Paul's Reply to Dispensational Error

Romans 11:1,2 I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew.

Moses or Christ? Paul's Reply to Dispensational Error

This sounds like Replacement Theology. Since you mainly just quote other people, I will respond with a quote from Got Questions. https://www.gotquestions.org/replacement-theology.html QUOTE Major problems exist with this view, such as the continuing existence of the Jewish people throughout...
