When you post an op and others disagree with it you attack them even personally and then get angry when they respond in any kind of way. I am sorry you are angry and I will leave you alone to compose yourself. I hope you can do better in the future.

As I have repeatedly said Rev., I am not angry. I never get angry over these little matters or from the rantings of little men/women. What I would like, and you seem incapable of doing, is having a clam discussion. You simply go off calling people liberal, socialist, Communist. That is not calm discussion. Also, you and others, never really speak to the real topic. Usually you get stuck on the title, which I do not create, but clip from the article cited.
Now, try reading the articles and responding to the message in them instead of continually trying to divert the subject or in calling political names.
By the way, I am not liberal, socialist nor Communist. I am a populist. A Populist is a person who believes that the interests of the average person in a society should be represented and that the poor, the ill, the elderly and children in need should be taken care of. I have also said that the government would not have to have such programs if the churches, including yours, would carry out the commands of Christ.
So, again, please try to have a clam, rational reply and discussion. Thanks in advance.
I am not opposed to helping those in need, in fact, churches are expected to those in such matters. What I am opposed to is helping those who are too lazy to work. People are too sorry to work and get an SSI check(card now) food stamps, gov't issued medical card, help paying their heating bills in the winter, &c. What else could they want and/or need? A lot of them that get a gov't provided medical card have a less than $5 co-pay on their medicines and they turn around and sell them on the streets. My brother-in-law recently found out he has a bulging disc. He went and got put on food stamps, 2 $200 clothing vouchers for his two kids, and four medical cards(him and his wife and 2 kids). There is no incentive to work!!
Anyone who does not provide for their relatives, and especially for their own household, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.[1 Tim. 5:8]
In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we command you, brothers and sisters, to keep away from every believer who is idle and disruptive and does not live according to the teaching you received from us. For you yourselves know how you ought to follow our example. We were not idle when we were with you, nor did we eat anyone’s food without paying for it. On the contrary, we worked night and day, laboring and toiling so that we would not be a burden to any of you. We did this, not because we do not have the right to such help, but in order to offer ourselves as a model for you to imitate. For even when we were with you, we gave you this rule: “The one who is unwilling to work shall not eat.”[2 Thess. 3:6-10]
It is the churches' responsibility to help, not keep up, people. God does not like laziness, monsieur.
James 1:27 ESV
Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.
Exodus 22:22 ESV
You shall not mistreat any widow or fatherless child.
1 John 3:17 ESV
But if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love abide in him?
Matthew 5:7 ESV
“Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy.
Matthew 5:1-48 ESV
Seeing the crowds, he went up on the mountain, and when he sat down, his disciples came to him. And he opened his mouth and taught them, saying: “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. “Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. “Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth. ...
Deuteronomy 24:19 ESV
“When you reap your harvest in your field and forget a sheaf in the field, you shall not go back to get it. It shall be for the sojourner, the fatherless, and the widow, that the Lord your God may bless you in all the work of your hands.
Isaiah 10:1-34 ESV /
Woe to those who decree iniquitous decrees, and the writers who keep writing oppression, to turn aside the needy from justice and to rob the poor of my people of their right, that widows may be their spoil, and that they may make the fatherless their prey! What will you do on the day of punishment, in the ruin that will come from afar? To whom will you flee for help, and where will you leave your wealth? Nothing remains but to crouch among the prisoners or fall among the slain. For all this his anger has not turned away, and his hand is stretched out still. Ah, Assyria, the rod of my anger; the staff in their hands is my fury! ...
Malachi 3:5 ESV
“Then I will draw near to you for judgment. I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, against the adulterers, against those who swear falsely, against those who oppress the hired worker in his wages, the widow and the fatherless, against those who thrust aside the sojourner, and do not fear me, says the Lord of hosts.

Not to argue as I am not. Here is scripture:
