Tuberculosis has spread through a Kansas high school after a single case of the disease was discovered.

Some 27 people have tested positive for latent TB infection at the school in eastern Kansas. State and county health officials made the announcement on Wednesday after tests were conducted on more than 300 Olathe Northwest High students and staff who came into contact with a student with TB disease.

Another reason to question the leadership and ability of Obama. He can't fix the border, and these folks are bring diseases with them that a once tight immigration system and vaccinations had all but obliterated.

Please point out where the news story said that TB was brought into the country via an illegal immigrant.

But you don't know what the problem is in Kansas, either, because the media did not tell you that it was not illegals. And we know that Mexico is sending her sick north.

Some fantastic garbage being thrown against the wall in this thread. Whatever it takes to keep up the agenda I guess.

A number of replies on this thread remind me of how the Roma are viewed in Europe. Anything that happens is their fault. Why, if a chicken is run over by at train it is the fault of some Roma.

For some it is the same with aliens here, legal or illegal.

Did any of you watch the program on the history of TB on PBS?

You guys are so easily swayed it is unbelievable.

Wow 27 cases of TB! The sky is falling.

You realize that in 2013 there were 9,582 cases in the US, right? Why didn't you guys get up in arms about those? Oh, right, you only respond to sound bites from the idiots in media.

Here's some more facts for you....

Most TB comes from Asia...better close them Asian borders.

TB cases peaked in 1992 and have been coming down since then. Better thank the republicans (Reagan and Bush I) for that high rate in 1992. Oh, yeah, and thank Clinton for the decline starting in 1992. What, you can blame Obama now, but you aren't going to thank Clinton for the start of the decline?

Hypocrites.

Now you are confusing them with the facts. Don't confuse them, it only confuses them.

Oh, well, let's confuse them.

"The number of individuals with TB infection does not exceed what we would anticipate in this setting,” said Lougene Marsh, director of the Johnson County Department of Health and Environment in a press release. “Of course, we had hoped we wouldn’t find any additional TB cases, but we knew this was a possibility. That’s why we took such thorough steps to test everyone who might have been in close contact with the first confirmed case of TB disease.”

It is part of a plan by the Chinese to lower property values. Here is how it works: TB--> People die as a result of epidemic --> Home vacancy increases --> Property values crash--> Chinese buy at bargain prices --> Sell to invading illegal immigrants at inflated prices when population numbers rebound.

Makes about as much sense as blaming the illegal immigrants.

Really, anything? Seems like quite an exaggeration. Maybe some honesty is due by you. It might raise your credibility level.
