1 Cor 1 shows the gentiles are chosen elect 1 Cor 1:27-28
27 but God hath
chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and
God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; 28 and base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen,
yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:
The word chosen here
eklegomai :
to pick out, choose, to pick or choose out for one's self
- choosing one out of many, i.e. Jesus choosing his disciples
They also along with some jews are the called 1 Cor 1:24
But unto
them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.
In the original its the called with the definite article
αὐτοῖς δὲ
τοῖς κλητοῖς Ἰουδαίοις τε καὶ Ἕλλησιν Χριστὸν θεοῦ δύναμιν καὶ θεοῦ σοφίαν·
being chosen and called means they are elect, both jews and gentiles.
