64 errors in the Cambridge edition of the King James translation of the Bible
I hereby challenge the KJOist to find in any single “modern version” even 1% of the number of errors that we can find in the Cambridge edition of 1769.
*******
Actually it is not a mistake at all.
Plus there are several times that the AV will capitalize the first occurance of a certain word and then revert back to the accepted reading and spelling.Good effort though. </font>[/QUOTE]*******
Just 1%?Come on now.Try much higher than that.
1% of 64,or 100 some odd? That means all I would have to do is find just 1 or two to do the job.
Plus those "supposed errors are not errors.
Try this tiny list;
--------------------
HARD ERRORS in the MV'S
Mark 5:1 Luke 8:26 8:37 - Gadarenes vs Gerasenses/Gerasa, the pig marathon
John 7:8 - "not yet" go to the feast (Jesus as liar in mvs)
Mark 1:2 - prophets vs Isaiah (scripture error)
Matthew 1:7 - Asa vs Asaphe (wrong person)
Luke 4:44 - Galilee vs Judea (inconsistent chronology geography)
Luke 23:45 - eclipsed vs darkened (scientific error)
John 5:2 - Bethzatha vs Bethesda (archaeologically confirmed)
John 1:28 - Bethabara vs Bethany beyond the Jordan (archaeological evidence)
Hebrews 9:4 - golden censer vs altar of incense (Tanach contradiction)
