I am not sure if he died or if he just had a dream, God is the judge of that, but I would not put any trust in Piper's words. The Word of God is the final source on heaven, trust it.

In his book he never saw \Jesus. Jesus sent someone to tell the preacher he had to go back.

webdog, the link I have is the entire show.

In it he does say he was with the Lord and the Lord was the only one with scars.

His interview starts 30 minutes into the program. 10 minutes later is where he says he sees structures and he sees the Lord.
