Featured A Chance for a Blessing

Praise God for linking us to the Jewish ceremony of life.

 

And the scripture,
foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith,

In thee shall all nations be blessed.
So then they which be of faith
are blessed with faithful Abraham.

Thank you God, that the gospel was in the Old Testament
and that our faith is blessed with Abraham.

 

...that the Lord,
having saved the people out of the land of Egypt,
afterward destroyed them that believed not.

Praise to the Lord that saved me
and please do not destroy me
or any other person on this forum who struggles with unbelief.

Thank you our Heavenly Father, for providing us with a mother.

Praise God that we can be partakers in the spiritual things of Israel.

Praise to God that Old Testament believers and New Testament believers are the holy nation, children of Israel.

 

Know ye therefore
that they which are of faith,
the same are
the children of Abraham.
Galatians 3:7

Praise to God that Old Testament or New Testament, believers are the children of Abraham.

 

For thou art an holy people
unto the Lord thy God:
the Lord thy God hath chosen thee
to be a special people unto himself,
above all people that are on the face of the earth.
Deuteronomy 7:6

But ye are... an holy nation...
1 Peter 2:9

Praise to God for making us part of a holy nation.

 

He also exalteth the horn of his people,
the praise of all his saints;
even of the children of Israel,
a people near unto him.
Praise ye the Lord.

Praise to those of Israel, all his saints, who are near.

 

These twelve Jesus sent forth,
and commanded them saying.
Go not into the way of the Gentiles,
and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:
But go rather to the lost sheep

Praise to God the all the apostles were Jews
and that God loves Jews.

 

For I am not ashamed
of the gospel of Christ:

unto salvation

to the Jew first,
and also to the Greek.

Jews first, praise God.

 

Brethren,
my heart's desire and prayer to God
for Israel is,
that they might be saved.
Romans 10:1

If Paul wanted Israel to be saved we should also want the same.

 

behold,
there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,
saying,
Where is he that is born King of the Jews?
for we have seen his star in the east,
and are come to worship him. ...
And...they saw the young child with Mary his mother,
and fell down,
and worshipped him:
Matthew 2:1b,:2,:11a

Praise to God that Gentiles from the east worshipped the King of the Jews.

 

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem:
they shall prosper that love thee.
Psalm 122:6

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem now and in the future.
Guess who mostly lives there.
Jews.

Even as David
also describeth the blessedness of the man,
unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works,
Romans 4:6

Praise God for such a one under the old covenant who believed by faith and not works,
and who wrote of it, and whose writings were repeated again under the new covenant;
salvation by faith in God and not works: the gospel in the Old Testament.

 

Because David did that which was right
in the eyes of the Lord,
and turned not aside from
anything
that he commanded
all the days
of his life,
save only in the matter
of Uriah the Hittite.

Praise God for a man under the Law that did that which was right in the eyes of the Lord.

That horrible sin he committed was forgiven with a cost.
I can think of many other "questionable" things David did, which are described in the bible,
but that one is the only sin.

Praise to God that David wrote the Psalms, many of which we rely on today.

 

Remember that Jesus Christ
of the seed of David
was raised from the dead
according to my gospel.

Praise God for Jesus' ancestry from David, a Jewish man who followed God,
and that Jesus was without even one sin. 1 John 3:5
