The Calvinist cannot have a heart for the lost believing the deck is stacked.

This is a ridiculously false statement.

So the Calvin preacher speaks to the lost, knowing that some were not meant to hear or accept the Gospel. One or two of the unelected accept the call. An exercise in futility at best.

Perhaps you should read about William Carey--the founder of the Baptist missionary movement. He poured out his life in India, burying a wife and at least one child along the way. He worked tirelessly for seven years before he saw one convert to Christ.

He was a 5-Point Calvinist.

The Blood of the Everlasting Covenant --C.H.S.

Snips follow:

"...the blood-bought seed who were loved of Christ from the foundation of the world."

[The Father speaking] "...these whom I now give to Christ shall be for ever the objects of eternal love. Them I will forgive through the merit of the blood. To these will I give a perfect righteousness; these will I adopt and make my sons and daughters, and these shall reign with me through Christ eternally."

"I will give them faith whereby this blood shall be applied to them."

"God the Son as the covenant head and representative of all God's elect."

"God the Son has paid the debt of all the elect."

If Spurgeon had preached only one sermon this one would have been it.

The Blood of the Everlasting Covenant -C.H.S.

Snips will follow:

"All for whom Christ died shall be pardoned, all justified, all adopted. The Spirit shall quicken them all, shall give them all faith, shall bring them all to heaven..."

"...let us see what were the objects of this covenant. Was this covenant made for every man of the race of Adam? Assuredly not..."

"The covenant --to come at once straight to the matter, however offensive the doctrine may be --the covenant has relationship to the elect and none besides. Does this offend you?"
The above is so good!

Do not use that kind of language.
Let's clear this part up.
Here is what I said:
You simply ignore evidence. I post evidence from Spurgeon and you remain unconvinced. That is remaining deliberately ignorant. Do not attack me when you are in a state of unbelief.
Unfortunately you only quoted the last statement separating it from the context in which it was said.

I was referring to the state of denial that you have in the quote or words of Spurgeon, even though I set them right before your eyes. "Whosoever will may come." It seems to be a state of denial that a Calvinist (like Spurgeon) would actually believe and preach that. "You remain in a state of unbelief" in regards to Spurgeon's words in this particular sermon.

I never made any reference to anyone's salvation.

You old prevaricator, you specialize in using language that casts me in the role of an unbeliever --an unsaved person. You do it regularly. It is uncalled for.

You are deliberatedly stating untruths by the handfuls.. I have nothing against Spurgeon's words in that sermon and I specifically had told you so earlier. So drop that not-going-to-go-anywhere-subject.

You need to address the posts of mine that I have referenced which directly oppose your make-believe Spurgeon.
