Acceptance of homosexuality...

All sin is pure rebellion against God, regardless of how "tiny". Christ Jesus paid the cost for every single sin on the cross. EVERY...ONE...OF...THEM. How we corrupted humans view them as "big" or "little" is of no relevance.
There is a difference. You do not treat the man who on occasion eats one too many pieces of fried chicken the same way you treat the man who on occasion has sex with his boyfriend.

We obviously are not going to agree on the subject of the seriousness of sin. You have a good evening.

There are lots of sins that separate people from God. Homosexuality affects a tiny proportion of lost people, but you wouldn’t know that from listening to some Christians.

1) I'm sure you mean that hom0sexuality is the lifestyle of a tiny proportion of people. However, Hom0sexuality affects nearly the entire nation. It is becoming the norm in our culture. In the Military, they are now allowed to openly serve- one could be your roommate. NY City has laws that require you to use the gender of choice (with high fines for non-compliance.) You child may have a school teacher who is such. Any it may be very hard to know - yet they can present info that is pro-hom0sexual. Many places you cannot discriminate. -- even simple things - remember a young lady put a notice up in a church asking for a female roommate. The State EO stated that was discrimination. And it would be likewise - if someone requests a "Straight" roommate. How did all this happen - Simple - little by little! Just like the Devil did - He didn't demand that Eve eat of the fruit - rather - he put a doubt into her head - Little by little. We need to take a stand and NOT be ashamed. (What I find interesting is that these groups never include polygamy as an acceptable lifestyle!- I wonder why?)

Are our churches preaching on sin! How about our TV preachers - Many just say to accept Christ - Are they actually preaching that we need to repent of sin - and to start living a dedicated Christian life.

Are we willing to step up and let folks know where we stand on our issue.

Suppose a friend of yours were to intercourse you to a "married" couple - how would you react.
What do we say - do we show our disapproval ?

Now as far as WoF and Jeopardy - if you hissed and booed - security would quickly excort you out of the studio
then they would re-tape that part of the program!

On person stated "I HATE it that the world views homosexuality as acceptable"
Well, why are we so accepting of the hom0sexuality community . Yes - us Christians.

WHY DO WE CALL THEM gay!!!!! By using that term - you are down playing their sin!!
They prefer that term (as any group of sinners) because it doesn't sound so bad.

If you noticed, when someone on this board uses the term "gay" I often will state, "I have no problem with
folks who are happy - but when it comes to a hom0sexual - that is a person living in sin!!
Do you remember Dr. Laura Schlessinger - radio talk show host - for example a young lady would call in and state "Well, I'm living
with my boyfriend" of which Dr. Laura immediately would say - "So you are shacking up"!

So join me and lets return "gay" to its proper meaning "Happy"!

The 1-3% of the population that practices homosexuality is hardly a “norm”.

Not talking about the 1-3% - who are practicing, I'm talking about how the general population of all Americans is accepting it as the norm.

And, yes, I pray for them.

I have been unable to find scripture addressed to the Church telling Christians to pray for the salvation of those we consider lost. Christ set the example:

[Jhn 17:8-9 ESV] 8 For I have given them the words that you gave me, and they have received them and have come to know in truth that I came from you; and they have believed that you sent me. 9 I am praying for them. I am not praying for the world but for those whom you have given me, for they are yours.

Further more, Christians are to separate from Gods' enemies.

2Jo 1:9 KJV - Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.

2Jo 1:10 KJV - If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into [your] house, neither bid him God speed:

1Ti 6:3 KJV - If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, [even] the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;

1Ti 6:4 KJV - He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,

1Ti 6:5 KJV - Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.

Withdraw thyself, for me, means do not watch them on TV.

Standing by for incoming!! I am willing to be corrected with scripture.

The United States, as well as the world, accepts as the norm a whole host of sins. Always have, always will.

Since God wishes all to come to repentance, shouldn’t we pray for them to do so as well?

“The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.” - 2 Peter‬ ‭3:9‬ ‭ESV‬‬

Well, General Booth said to go for souls & go for the worse.

All of the ladies who ever dated me became lesbians immediately afterwards....
