I suppose there's always a statistical outlier ... but I'd need more to accept this was a covid casualty. 5 days? I've never heard of a case becoming deadly in 5 days.

Perhaps the experience of my friend's friend's niece is an outlier, too ...

but making the decision to accept the jab vice the odds of being A) infected AND B) having life threatening/altering symptoms.

Even if true, it'd never be released ... but based upon my experience with vax shed this summer, I can't help but wonder if that started it ... and then she happened to become infected after the vax shed damage from her parents.

No. I'm saying a parent has a difficult decision as their child could die of a reaction to a vacvine or due to covid which could have been prevented by a vaccine.

A child's death is tragic either way and neither should be used as a pawn for a political agenda.

I'm simply saying ... I could better accept losing a child to a disease by which they're not guarantee'd to be infected and if they are the odds are pretty infinitesimally small they're gonna even have symptoms ... and even less than that for a "reportable" event.

vice ... accept the jab, knowing there is a significant risk of adverse effect AND having to commit to these things twice/year ... because they're not as successful as the clinical trials reported. the "shot of hope" ... how hopeful are we now a year downrange from the first salvo?

It is easy to speculate but don't think we can say what we would better deal with.

The parents who lost their children to covid probably wish they had their children vaccinated. At least they would have provided some protection, which is a parents responsibility.

The parents who lost their children to a vaccine probably wish they chose differently as well. At least it would not have been their decision that concluded in the death of their child.

Let me help. First, I am not discounting the Facebook source as I know vaccines have risks and I believe children are at a higher risk.

Second, I told you about the 9 year old girl who died of covid. I understand why they would wish she had been vaccinated against covid.

Third (and to what you did not understand from my post) if a parent has their child vaccinated I understand why they would feel responsible as they made the decision to vaccinate their child.

To answer your question, yes, I have heard of somebody going from perfectly healthy to dead in 5 days or less. This occurred with a 10 grader who died of covid in the school system that employees my wife. It also happened with a coworker who died of covid last month and a young police officer in my community.

but by the end of this summer ... it should have been CLEAR. There is a LOT more at stake here than meets the eye. First, it's not lasting nearly as long as they advertised, it's not doing nearly as well against the variant from the original ... and worse, the risks are FAR more problematic than were told in Dec '20.

The 10th grader, the 9 year old, my coworker, the police officer who died of covid in less than 5 days are all outside the norm. As is the 7 year old girl in your post who died of a vacvine.

I get that. But on this page I linked ... the outfit which published this story from facebook ... is not using it for political eye poking. You've stated that such activity is a problem, and I agree.

I'm not doubting your reports about the swift death ... I'm just stating I'd never heard of that. Usually from symptom to calling the family is a couple of weeks minimum, with double digit days on the bacterial infection-causing vent.

The one death of which I'm personally aware happened to an outlaw in law (Uncle's brother in law) ... who was in his late 60s. He struggled against it for a month. I've never had the heart to ask my uncle about the man's treatment, but I highly doubt budesonide was part of it at any point.

Yes, I realize the article sourced a Facebook post and you referenced the article. I grant it is probably right.

I do not understand why healthy people get covid and are dead within a week. I told you about a friend in his 90's who recovered just fine. Strange.

A friend's daughter, in her 20's, had a covid stroke. My brother has health issues and recovered just fine after a couple of weeks at home.

No. I do not believe the site is interested in truth anymore than DC is interested in truth. I base this on the "proud to be anti-vax" info and their history of an anti-vaccination stance.

I also do not have Facebook (I just hit the link provided as the source in the article).

I think it logical to see what actually occurred prior to making definitive decisions, but have no problem that it very well could be a reaction to the vaccination.

Yea. My sister is anti-vax (any vaccination) and has been so for decades. And that's fine with me (I wouldn't tell domebody what is best for their kids). But I've seen the site before with the MMR vaccine debates. A lot of stuff there.

I suspect it is like most other websites - an emphasis on one agenda, probably a lot if truth, probably a lot of fiction.

With the internet, the more "information" we have sometimes it seems the less we know.

Sometimes I kinda miss the days of research libraries and a phone that stayed home......but then I get board and log on to the BB.
