Is any human able to sing this song without lying? If not, why do we sing it?

Lyics:

All to Jesus I surrender,
All to Him I freely give;
I will ever love and trust Him,
In His presence daily live.
I surrender all,
I surrender all.
All to Thee, my blessed Savior,
I surrender all.
2
All to Jesus I surrender,
Humbly at His feet I bow,
Worldly pleasures all forsaken;
Take me, Jesus, take me now.
3
All to Jesus I surrender,
Make me, Savior, wholly Thine;
Let me feel Thy Holy Spirit,
Truly know that Thou art mine.
4
All to Jesus I surrender,
Lord, I give myself to Thee;
Fill me with Thy love and power,
Let Thy blessing fall on me.
5
All to Jesus I surrender,
Now I feel the sacred flame.
Oh, the joy of full salvation!
Glory, glory to His name!

One of my many favorite hymns of dedication.

It is not stating surrender without future awakening of a rebellion, nor is implying surrender without humble submission to the will of the Father.

Knowing that the evil of this day is sufficient, my Father quickens me with new mercy every morning.

He understands my human frailty, for in all areas His own Son endured tempting, and although that wicked accuser seeks to drive a wedge between my Father and I, my Advocate, my Friend, my Redeemer brings to evidence that this servant was purposefully purchased from the life of slavery to sin and unrighteousnesses and cries out daily that the purging of the heart, that the renewing of the mind, and that the peace of the hope within me shall keep Him in my presence.

Therefore, I do not lie, but am called to daily remember my first love, and with all humility and surrender all.

Yet, the words of the song don't state anything you stated. It seems sentimental at best.

Dave, you make a universal statement that cannot possibly be true. It reminds me of Elijah claiming he is the only manof faith in all Israel...then God corrects him by telling him there were 7000 others.
Either your assertion is true, or you are asserting hyperbole and thus being untruthful. Just one group would prove you wrong.
How are you doing with Hebrews 10:25, Dave?
And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.

I speak only for me, but I know that in my flesh, as long I live on earth, there will be areas in my life that I struggle with surrendering fully to God. Just one poorly used word not surrendered to God and I have failed to surrender all.
Romans 7:24-25
Oh, what a miserable person I am! Who will free me from this life that is dominated by sin and death? Thank God! The answer is in Jesus Christ our Lord. So you see how it is: In my mind I really want to obey God’s law, but because of my sinful nature I am a slave to sin.
You cannot agree as long as you don't think divorce and remarriage are adultery. It gives married couples an easy way out instead of forgiving and reconciling with is what Paul teaches. Ministers hand them a ticket to failure at the weakest point in their marriage like Satan waiting to devour them. I'm curious if you ever experienced the rigors of marriage?

“I will ever love and trust Him,
In His presence daily live.”

I daily live by His preservation and for His purpose.

“Humbly at His feet I bow,
Worldly pleasures all forsaken;”

As Paul, I daily set aside the Worldly and strive in service as His servant.

“Lord, I give myself to Thee;
Fill me with Thy love and power,
Let Thy blessing fall on me.l

All my self efforts are vain and worthless, for it is His desire my life be filled with both love and power and trust I bless him with His blessings.

“Now I feel the sacred flame.
Oh, the joy of full salvation!
Glory, glory to His name!”

Without the light, the candle of the Holy Spirit, how can I be a light to the world reflecting the Word of life?

I have full salvation despite being incapable of offering nothing but surrender.
I run the race while bringing my body under His control as Paul stated, “I discipline my body and make it my slave, so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified.”

How can I live less than surrendered and in a continuum of surrendering, for He alone is worthy to be praised.

From my early days, this was a principle I taught.

There is just no “home free” concerning this topic, which shouldn’t be in this thread.

Should the husband or wife desire to leave the marriage, does not release the other from the vows taken before God and man. That person is to remain single until death parts the relationship.

The difficulty is that the modern believers have no more intentions to live for “better or worse” then did the Israeli's and desire some bill of divorcement which the Lord said was not of God.

You did NOT answer my question!

My question only needs a yes or no answer'
If you think it is necessary - you can expound on could or would

So please answer with a simple yes or no!
Salty, it is not up to believers to make such a judgement.

There is one book of life and no believer has eyes given to look therein.

When a tare sings our songs, some believe they belong to Jesus. But others know they never made a full commitment to Christ, and therefore feel a twinge of hypocrisy while belting out I surrender all...

Progressive sanctification - where believers strive to become more Christ like and more effective servants - certainly requires the non-acceptance of our failures, and an endless supply of renewed effort.

For me, songs like "I surrender all" help me keep my eye on the prize, and my path on the straight and narrow...

No its not! Now the question is - are you afraid of the answer you gave or what.

And I have no ideal what hoops you would have to jump thur
My question was very simple.
Does Jesus teach in Matthew 19:9 that remarriage after a divorce from an adulterous husband is adultery? (You could not debunk my claim when we discussed it). Does Jesus teach that adulterers go to hell? Do you think "pastors" who offer the "except clause" to a family at their weakest snapping point are serving Christ? I've seen churches with little or no divorce as a result of accurately teaching what Matthew 19:9 really teaches. Can you recognize people by their fruits?

Dave, I have been married for decades to the same woman. As a believer I have fought the good fight and God has provided daily grace to persevere. The church I attend holds to scripture as its guide. For example, we take this passage seriously.
1 Corinthians 7:10-16

But for those who are married, I have a command that comes not from me, but from the Lord. A wife must not leave her husband. But if she does leave him, let her remain single or else be reconciled to him. And the husband must not leave his wife. Now, I will speak to the rest of you, though I do not have a direct command from the Lord. If a Christian man has a wife who is not a believer and she is willing to continue living with him, he must not leave her. And if a Christian woman has a husband who is not a believer and he is willing to continue living with her, she must not leave him. For the Christian wife brings holiness to her marriage, and the Christian husband brings holiness to his marriage. Otherwise, your children would not be holy, but now they are holy. (But if the husband or wife who isn’t a believer insists on leaving, let them go. In such cases the Christian husband or wife is no longer bound to the other, for God has called you to live in peace.) Don’t you wives realize that your husbands might be saved because of you? And don’t you husbands realize that your wives might be saved because of you?

Dave, how are you doing with obeying Hebrews 10:25?

And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.

Dave, there is no Christian who truly surrenders all.

As I stated, all of the churches promote adultery among their members using the except clause of Matthew 19:9. All are Dispensational or premillennial except Lutheran, Methodists, and Presbyterian who have their own sets of issues. All of the Churches are Arminian. Some are Zionist correspondents of Jerry Falwell. Which would you attend?

"If you would be saved you must by the aid of the Holy Spirit now renounce the bondage of Satan and come to Christ, saying, 'Lord I am willing to give up all sin, it is not in my power to be perfect but I wish it were, make me perfect. There is not a sin I wish to keep, take all away, I present myself before You. Wash me, make me clean. Do what You will with me. I make no reserve, I make a full surrender of all to You'.” —Charles Spurgeon, 'Faith Illustrated'

Dave, if a woman commits adultery, is the man allowed to divorce her?

You are judging the martyrs by your own self. You are judging me by yourself. Have you ever given up anything for Christ? Faced danger? Turned the other cheek? etc..

A Christian would forgive. There is no divorce arrangement in the NT. You can twist scripture all you want, but only death breaks the marriage bond.
So then please exegete Matthew 19 and explain what it really means. Something I have asked you to do an you have yet to do.

How many people did Jesus give an answer they were soliciting to? Why was He so evasive?

If the "except clause" permits remarriage from an adulterous spouse, why does Jesus say the man who marries the innocent divorced woman is an adulterer? She was divorced from an adulterous husband. This would also make the innocent woman an adulterer.
