An Anonymous Poll

Of the only 2 possibilities that have a realistic chance of becoming President, I prefer:

  • Hillary over Trump

    Votes: 4 21.1%
  • Trump over Hillary

    Votes: 15 78.9%

  • Total voters
    19

In truth, it seems pretty obvious that many here have expressed that they prefer Hillary over Trump, but it almost always in roundabout ways. Perhaps they are a bit “shy” to admit this preference? Maybe an anonymous poll would shed some light on the true percentage.

Note: There is no 3rd option here so if you want to vote you will have to pick between the two, of which ONE WILL BE the next President of the United States. I encourage you to choose honestly.

This will also be thread for posting comments which would imply that one has expressed that they prefer Hillary over Trump on this board in the case of unreasonable denial that some here do prefer Hillary over Trump. Thank you.

No shame here...

I know its hard for you to handle the No 3rd Option...

But I don't want you to be in denial...

Sorry, but the choice is between the 2, one of which will be the next President, that is the reality of the situation...

Maybe this is a good opportunity to get in touch with your inner feelings and face the music about the unavoidable choice before you concerning your true preference...

Maybe you should wait until both Hillary and Trump are the official nominees of their respective parties. In other words, your poll is premature.

I wonder what the reason for the thread is, if not to mock/goad those who think that both are equally bad choices.

Hillary and Trump already won. Why should we wait for their parties to make it official? Are we to give the Republican leaders time to try to rob Trump of his victory?

We're waiting for the GOP to nominate a conservative candidate. Maybe the "Free the Delegates" movement can oust Trump and put Scott Walker as the candidate.

BTW, I'm #NeverTrump and #NeverHillary so your poll has disenfranchised me.

I doubt that Walker would accept, though I think that he would have a better chance against Clinton than Trump does.

It is possible that these spoiler groups might somehow nullify the Republican primary voters.

You mean the 40% that actually voted for Trump, or the 60% that voted for someone else, or the 52% that said in a recent poll that they want someone else as the candidate besides Trump?

Considering that Trump received 11 million votes in the primaries, more than any Republican candidate in history, more than enough to win the nomination on the first ballot, I'm talking about the sore losers.
You know, the ones who are trying to overturn that with convention rule changes.

Consider that Trump received more votes against him than any Republican in history...more votes against him than for him.

Regardless, Trump now has the support of 85% of Republicans, comparable to Romney's 87% support among Republicans at this time in 2012

Not quite. The data you are highlighting is a binary question: Among Republicans, do you support Trump or Clinton? It's basically Benjamin's poll question.

And I wouldn't be touting the fact that Trump has 2% less support among Republicans than Romney did in 2012, since Romney lost the election.

Finally, the poll is from mid-May, or before Trump started getting another bad flare up of foot-in-mouth disease.

Yes, since both Clinton and Trump have won enough delegates to win on the first ballot.

And I wouldn't be touting the fact that Trump has 2% less support among Republicans than Romney did in 2012, since Romney lost the election.

Ok, then put another way, Trump has 2% more support among Republicans than Bush did in 2000, and Bush won the election.

Finally, the poll is from mid-May, or before Trump started getting another bad flare up of foot-in-mouth disease.

According to Never-Trumpers he's always had foot-in-mouth-disease. But hope springs eternal. They're still looking for a way to steal the nomination from him.

If Hillary wins, she gets to destroy the Constitution by filling the empty Supreme Court seat with the 5th Leftwing Activist, if she can get her pick past congress. Even if Trump was somehow replaced at the convention, there would be so much anger and disgust at the foul play, Hillary would win.

I do not understand the depths of human perversion and stupidity, that #NeverTrump followers are willing to believe that Trump would destroy the Constitution so Hillary is better. Hillary is, ahem, one empty seat away from destroying the Constitution. And, she wants to do it. Trump might have some unconstitutional ideas, but he's not a danger to the Constitution. Hillary is far, far worse than Trump, across the board.

I do not understand the depths of human perversion and stupidity that people beloved Saddam had active nuclear weapons programs and was hiding massive stockpiles of WMDs in 2003, in spite of all attempts to reason with them. Look what an unmitigated disaster the Iraq war is. And, now the same people who facilitated the rise of ISIS, the decimation of the Iraqi Christian, and victory to Liberals in the culture war in America, are working to outdo themselves by putting Hillary in the White House and the worst possible time.

Shame on #NeverTrump followers. Shame. On. Them.
