There has always been violence on Earth, it'll be stepped up and sources with space war
I don't see a problem really with Space Command. It had to happen, warfare depending on land, sea, air, space, and cyber assets isn't the future, it's already here. Cyber Command should be next.

I share your sentiments but I temper them with realism. If your rivals head to space or are likely to head there, then you better get there ahead of them
In order to have a military force to effectively intercept and destroy INTERCONTINENTAL ballistic missiles a SPACE FORCE is an absolute necessity.
A Space Force is also a necessity to protect our defensive satellites and house an inventory of nuclear retaliation missiles.
Russia knows this and is VERY upset at Trump's resolve to create a SPACE FORCE.
The very first mission will no doubt be the creation of a colossal squadron of well armed military Space Stations along with the rebirth of the Ballistic Missile Early Warning System (BMEWS).

But realistically, we need to do something similar with Cyber. Model it like the NOAA commissioned corps or the USPHS commissioned corps. A .gov hacker doesn’t necessarily need to meet PT and height/weight standards, or be able to follow the trajectory/education of a regular troop. Maybe the same goes for Space Force.

All that's left is the US to lead and keep leading on this. Russia beats US on missile defence system. If they rush to space and Russia runs faster then that's disastrous
My main worry is that a space force will snowball into weapons in space, when the Command requests an "offensive" conventional capability. China, the US and Europe, and Russia have differing technological edges. Weapons in space will be hard to predict because it is all cutting edge science, let alone engineering. Even harder to predict than land, air, and sea weapons. It's a new game where we may not have the edge for long.
The ball is already on the field and the game is on. Therefore, you either play the game to win or go home and stick your head in a hole in the ground while pretending it doesn't exist.
So, that's no reason to keep from trying.
I understand your points. It is inevitable in many ways to have weapons in space. We might as well get there first and build an edge. I will have to do some more thinking on the issue.

"And There Was War In Sky", that is the physical space of Universe.
Heaven(s) is / are celestial places in Christ as it is revealed in Ephesians 1:3, among others biblical references.

"War among the stars" may be more biblically apt. The reality is very depressing when you think about it biblically. Man has warred on the earth, in the sky, and soon among the stars. The third heaven is marred by war due to Satan and his angels. The rebellion against God Our Father in heaven will only stop marring His creation with war through Jesus Christ's return. Even then we will have rebellion when Satan is released at the end of the Millennium.

This is a Christian forum. The expression "heaven" is biblical, heaven is celestial, sky is not biblical, it is the physical - material - espace of Universe. But the material things are figure of spiritual things. The parables of our Lord JESUS are good examples.
