According to Constitutional scholars, it's not disinformation. The 1887 Electoral count act has questionable Constitutionality
According to the US Constitution he could not have. But I am interested in the articles to which you point.

There have been an awful lot of Republicans caught in the Capital, attacking police, and vandalizing the place.

Just saying "Antifa was there too" is no defense.

I have watched a lot of westerns in my day and when there was a mob gathered to lynch someone most in the mob that thought never entered their mind until a few in the mob incited them.

Question;

Did President Trump incite the mob to go to the Capital and break in or did the mob go to the Capital and were then incited by others?

Per those who were arrested, they were encouraged by President Trump's speech telling them to go to the Capital an "peacefully protest". I do not know if they took "peacefully" as legit or a play on the summer riots.

It does not really matter, though. As President he should have recognized and diffused the situation instead of rallying them around a false hope. If others actually "pulled the trigger", Trump at least loaded the gun.

If he were a poor leader, then perhaps you are right.

But as a Marine you know that the military holds our leaders to have leadership skills, to include the ability to defuse rather than escalate. At least that is what we knew in the Army. President Trump should have known the impact his words could have on those who would fly to D.C. in order to listen to a rally as his administration was coming to a close. Those were not the sharpest tools in the shed. Regardless of words, a good leader would have been able to measure the emotion and would have refrained from hyping them up on the kool-aide before setting them off to the Capital to "peacefully protest".

Either way he bears responsibility. He should not have continued the "spin" and disinformation when it was already over. That was his fault.

When has Trump ever used the phrase "peacefully protest" to incite anyone to riot? Never. When has Trump ever personally described rioting as "peacefully protesting." Never.

Dems and the Dem Media have done this, but not Trump. It is an outright lie to say he did so this time. He said, "…to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard." Since when does peacefully using voices amount to rioting? Only since the Dems and RINOs twisted it to mean such. Leave the lies against Trump to the Dems and RINOs; don't join them in their hypocrisy.

Trump (the GOP and conservative media) have pointed out that the DNC considered the summer riots and people killed as "peacefully protesting".

I am not saying Trump sent people out to attack. I am saying he should have known thar ramping up the rhetoric could lead to an incident.

No he shouldnt have and his words did not cause this. It was all preplanned. He bears no fault or responsibility.

If it were pre-planned then he bears even more responsibility. That means others knew he would continue the propaganda and encourage emotional unrest, and they knew he would do it to such a level they could spark a riot.

His words did cause this. He was holding a pep-rally for a game that had already been lost. He is to be blamed because at a minimum (based on what you have offered) people played him a fool's song and he choose to dance.

Have you not read wide is the gate and broad is the road leading-away to destruction— and MANY are the ones entering through it. I find your theology severely lacking.
Exactly. And the nation is pretty much divided in half. The wide road consists of the DNC/GOP. The narrow road is Christ.

No, I am not making anything up.

On Jan 6 Congress was to receive the State votes.

That same day President Trump was rallying his supporters in D.C., telling them it was not over, calling on Pence to stop the process and Republican congressman to overturn the election.

At the very least he was giving those who came to watch a false hope.

He is responsible for that.

Therefore the Godly should vote accordingly for President Trump but the majority who do not fear God went with the easy broad choice.....Biden.

No. To borrow from C.H. Spurgeon - when faced with a choice between two evils, choose neither. The godly could have voted for former President Trump, as I did, but many could also have voted for President Biden. How they view the situation would dictate how they voted.

It was a sin for me to have voted for former President Trump. I regret that decision. For others it may have been fine (regardless of how they voted).
