THE SPIRIT.....not some retained memory or date recollection of walking down some aisle to "accept Jesus"....

the post you answered is another misrepresentation of what true Calvinists say.
If In The Light asks me if I know I am elect, I'd give the same answer you gave.
If he asks me if I know MY WIFE is elect, my answer will be that I hope God did extend the same mercy He extended to me to her, and judging from what I see now, I certainly hope to meet her in heaven.
If he asks me if my muslim neighbor is going to hell, my answer will be I don't know, I have no authority by Scripture to judge anyone's final destination.

Bible states that we CAN know that we have been chosen in jesus/elected unto eternal life, by loving bethren, God, obeying Him, desiring His things now, wanting to share Jesus, be in prayer/bible now, having a cjanged lifestyle etc...

And only WE can know for certain that....

And your jewish/Muslim/any other religion etc we can know for certainity that if do not call upon yeshua, they will die in their sins!
