I have heard Ray Comfort talk to the lost and I will say the thing that always strikes me is his compassion for them. He is really concerned for their eternal state. I've also listened to Evan preach on youtube and it comes across as look at me, look at what I'm doing, but I did not see compassion for his hearers.

And THAT is what I keep hearing in what he's saying. It's as though he's trying to win the argument but not the soul.

Can I ask you how much time are you devoting to this? How much time are you devoting to earning a living and paying off your debt and how much time are you devoting to your wife and your own home church?

I'd still love to know the answer to this question.

Those that lack compassion are those that do not witness. I have never been accused of lacking compassion other than this board.

I, too would like to know the answer.

I find it interesting, many questions you refuse to answer.
Why not just say, you don't want to answer those questions.

Note, I will keep reposting Ann's questions - until it is answered.

Maybe uncompassionate isn't the right word. But you sure do make it seem like you're looking for a good verbal sparring match with them.

Have you approached the pastor in any of these churches?

I'd like to see an answer to Ann's question, because the first thing that ran through my head was: if he's at another church when there are people there, wouldn't that normally be at times when his own church is in session?

I have no dog in this fight, but some churches do have multiple service times on a Sunday morning, or even (gasp!!) Saturday evening. Just sayin'

My friend (whom taught WOTM at a church) thinks that instead of writing letters to deaf ears apostates, why not show up after a service and pass out tracts. Anyone ever done this? I imagine all the apostate can do is threaten to call the police and then we just move onto another apostate church. The abortion centers are private property and they are used to protestors, not all of them for christian causes, but I bet the apostate churches get few protestors. Perhaps a way to apply Jude 23. We will do this together so I will have backup. This appears to be a good idea as the naive people are deceived and in need of proper direction.

No rabbits, kangaroos or ostriches just some solid answers, please. How does Jude 23 apply to this situation?

And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire;
hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.
Jude 1:23 KJV

You've made some claim to being or desiring to be an apologist. Explain to me how this verse is speaking of apostate churches in context. Are apostate churches the fire spoken of here or are they the spotted garments?

Once explained how do we get the application that passing out tracts at the church is saving some , pulling out of the fire or hating polluted garments? What is the principle of fear spoken of? Fear of the Lord or instilling fear in the ear of the listener?
