Appointed To Eternal Life?

The whole world lieth in darkness, and we need to spread the Gospel of the only Lord God and Saviour Jesus Christ.

He desireth all to be saved, alleuia! What a Saviour that saved a wretch like me <3

1 John 5:10, . . . he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.

Its exactly as what it is in the English, its the entire world. God hath founded the world, and all therein. The flood was the whole earth, the whole world.

The world can be defined the periods of the world as well, such as the first world, and so forth. The old world was destroyed by the flood, it could also be referring to the spiritual worldly world. Love not the world, neither the things therein.

The Gospel:

For
God so loved the world that he gave his
Only begotten
Son that whosoever believeth him should not perish but
Everlasting
Life.

Jesus died for you, shed his blood on that cursed tree, to save you and the whole world, he died, rose again on the 3rd day, put your faith as Paul saith in Romans 3:16 in his precious blood which God saith that is the life of the flesh and without the shedding of blood, there is no remission.

Alleuia!
You’re obviously an arminian. Let me ask, if God wanted to save all, wouldn’t all be saved? I mean, he is the Creator right?

I am not sure what is a "Arminian," I am a born again Christian that is not Reformed, and I believe the King James Bible. Note the word "desire", that is a very simple English word of what it means. He "desires" all men to be saved, it didn't say he will make all men to be saved, we ourselves have to decide whether to believe or not. Yes, he is the creator and we have free will.

Romans 1:20

For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

No. This has been asked before in another thread regarding the very same Scriptures being cited.
Well then, it wasn’t answered appropriately because there are allot of people who believe differently, so until it’s answered to satisfaction I will continue to ask the question.

So you believe Gods inept. BTW I’m not reformed either…. So what does that have to do with anything?

2 Peter 3:8-9

Authorized (King James) Version

8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

There is no unrighteouness in him, all he doth is to shew his great name, his wonders and all the earth will know he is the only LORD of all the earth and King of kings. Alleuia, praise ye the LORD!!!!

I believe every English word of the Bible, and its quite clear that God so loved the world, not any short of it, he hath made all our hearts alike, and Paul saith even the Gentiles do the law by their heart. We can tell by nature, the invisible qualities of the world, and everything declareth their creator.

God is not empt, he is a terrible mighty great King that will have men to be saved, I did make a mistake, the correct word is "will" which can also mean by request.

Anyways, his will is that all men to be saved, but we have freewill to choose to be willed to his salvation or not.

To further to support my opinion that the "will" could also mean possiblity, and of a desire is found in this verse:

Romans 7:18

Authorized (King James) Version

18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.

Certainly, this "will" could not mean something that is a certain, but a desire. It's our hearts will to do the right thing but we do what we do not want to do.

Precious LORD saved a wretech like me, an Amazing Grace that I do not deserve. That's the greatest love in the entire world and forever more. AMEN.

Its quitely shown in context in the 7th chapter of St. John that is about those who are born of God, Paul talks about the three witness in heaven that bear record: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: these three are one. That those who believe that Jesus is the Christ, and hath the Son hath life.

Those who have not the Son, do not believe that God gave his son, hath made God a liar (who cannot lie) who gave in his scripture and by inffillable proofs that he did so.

He did not believe the word of God.

I’m in full agreement with Grace being he deciding factor but you appear to be saying that sinners (using your expression) make their decision concerning their own salvation.

Yes, they decide if they want to be saved or not.

2 Timothy 1:9
Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,

This would be a good example of correct meaning of "appointed to eternal life" which he did so before the world (earthly) began, he already knew the future, he foretold Jesus in Genesis and many other places.

Jesus loves the whole world, this I know and we love since he first loved us. While we were yet sinners, he died for the ungodly. This I know, and I believe every word of it.
