I agree with: "Scripture says that we are in the last days but we do not know what day will be the last day ...", except I will add the word "... yet.", at the end.
I agree with: "We do know what year Jesus began his public ministry because Scripture and ancient Roman records tell us."
Let me know what you think of the pevious post - April 3, AD 33.
I listen to commentary on prophecy but I do not delve into the field much personally--I am on borrowed time--one only gets three score ten and I am beyond that and borrowing time from those who did not get their three score ten.
I do think that the major sign of the end of the coming tribulation, the gathering storm, is the apostasy of the church. I have copied some verses on that subject. I am not sure if I have the right ones but when something is repeated about four times, it is serious.
2 Thessalonians 2:3 (KJV) Let no man deceive you by any means: for [that day shall not come], except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
1 Timothy 4:1-3 (KJV) Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; Forbidding to marry, [and commanding] to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.
2 Timothy 4:3-4 (KJV) For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away [their] ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
Matthew 24:12 (KJV) And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
