Michael Hollner declared: “Every Word of God means every single word, no exceptions” (King James Only Debate, p. 173). Michael Hollner asserted: “Theft is theft, even a single word! Stealing from God’s Word is a deadly game” (p. 83). Michael Hollner asked: “Does your Bible version have EVERY WORD OF GOD in it?” (p. 51). Michael Hollner asserted: “You cannot change what God has already done, it cannot be reversed or changed” (p. 303). Floyd Jones asserted: “The place to stop and stand fast is to give not one word away” (Which Version, 21st edition, p. 24). Floyd Jones wrote: “Deuteronomy 4:2, 12:32; Psalm 12:6-7 and Proverbs 30:6 all declare to neither add nor subtract from God’s Word” (Chronology, p. 67). Dave Reese declared: “The Lord Jesus Christ will not allow one of His Words to pass away” (The Book No One Can Read, p. 2). Caleb Garraway asserted: “Don’t lessen, remove, or withhold anything from what God has given” (Pure Words, p. 282). Caleb Garraway wrote: “God promised to preserve every word—we either have it or we do not have it, and those manuscripts that do not contain it are corrupted” (p. 117). D. A. Waite wrote: “We have no right to subtract anything from the Word of God” (Defending the KJB, p. 92). D. A. Waite wrote: “It’s not faithful if it ADDS to the Word of God. It’s not faithful if it SUBTRACTS from the Word of God” (p. 97). Waite asserted: “EVERY WORD is important to God” (p. 115). Waite declared: “So you can’t throw away any of His WORDS. All are important” (p. 116).
Lloyd Streeter asserted: “Every word of God is all important” (Seventy-five Problems, p. 29). Joshua Gimenez declared: “We must have every word and none should be removed” (Making the Bible Version Debate Simple, p. 9). Jack Koons asserted: “When the translators of the King James Bible did their translation from the ‘original’ languages into English, they translated each word in the ‘original’ language, into the English word which represented what was said in the ‘original’ language” (What Is so Special about the KJB, p. 327). In volume one of his commentary on the book of Psalms, Peter Ruckman asked: “What is the point in ‘verbal plenary inspiration’ if you are going to lose the words on purpose?” (p. 70). Troy Clark declared: “God wants every word equally preserved” (Perfect Bible, p. 45). Phil Stringer declared: “If you believe in the verbal inspiration of Scripture, every word matters” (Unbroken Bible, p. 210). Charles Keesee declared: “It is rather strange to pretend that we have a perfect Bible, but we don’t have all the words that are supposed to be there” (Subtle Apostasy, p. 32). Charles Keesee wrote: “We need a Bible that has every word that God inspired” (p. 258). Charles Keesee asserted: “If God inspired a word to be written down and your Bible does not contain it, then your Bible has an error” (p. 31). [bold type added to this quotation by poster]
One can take these very own words and assertions made by KJV-only authors and demonstrate that a consistent application of them would in effect disprove or refute their own exclusive only claims for the KJV. Does the KJV actually provide English words for all words in its underlying original-language texts of Scripture as some KJV-only authors clearly suggested or directly asserted? How does the KJV keep intact or preserve by accurate or inerrant translation those original-language words of Scripture for which it gives no English word/rendering? Does the KJV actually have each and every original-language word of Scripture accurately or perfectly translated into English when it has no English rendering for many of them?
