Paganism is not Satanism?

The population of the world past and present can be divided into two: children of God and children of the Satan. The Lord knows them that are His. If one is not a child of God, he is a child of Satan whether he worhips him openly or not.

Paganism goes back to Cain when he changed the type of the sacrifice. Fruit does not typify blood. Children of nature have been worshipping nature ever since--i.e. the god of this world, the prince of the power of the air.

Historicity of Nativity Scenes--

Most of these scenes show the "three magi" in attendance at the birth of Jesus. A reading of the scripture shows that these men could not have been there. Apparently about two years had elapsed--it was a long trip by camel.

Also, they found a young child not an infant in a house, not a stable.

One more: Herod killed the males 2 yrs and less.

So what!

Jesus said to remember Him in His Death--and we do--the Supper of the Lord.

The scripture says nothing about a remembrance of His Birth. However, the virginity of His mother is a doctrine of the Word of God--part of Jesus' credentials--"behold a virgin shall conceive...".

How Mary got to be "co-redemptorix" is an interesting study in the "ex-officio" of the holy see--which some have called "a doctrine of demons."

So what is wrong with all these "Holy Days"?

The real question is: What is right with them?

Every day of the week is a “Holy day” dedicated to some god.

Sunday: Day of the sun.
Monday: Day of the moon.
Tuesday: Zeus day.
Wednesday : Woden’s day.
Thursday: Thor’s day.
Friday: Friden’s day.
Saturday: Saturn’s day.

Exodus 23
13 And in all things that I have said unto you be circumspect: and make no mention of the name of other gods, neither let it be heard out of thy mouth.

So what is wrong with all these "Holy Days"?

The real question is: What is right with them?

Right, it's not. If you want to call Paganism Satanism because it's not Christian, then please call Mormonism, Hinduism, Buddhism, Taoism, Jehovah's Witness, etc. Satanism.

It's good to be accurate about other beliefs. We would not want unbelievers (or even believers) telling us that Mormons are Christians or that all Christians pray to Mary or something like that. We want to be accurate about the facts as a good example, if nothing else. But it helps in witnessing, too.

I'm Christian, and we do not use any Satanic or Pagan symbols in my family's celebration of Christmas. I put up the plastic tree, trim with the lights, and then the womenfolk put on their personal ornaments. We have purchased one for the girls every year, including their first Christmas, and my wife and I have purchased one every year that we have been married beginning with "Our First Christmas Together 1983". Oh, the memories they hold. I slap the plastic wreath on the door, and then my wife takes care of the rest of the house. Most years, I venture out on the roof and hang lights from the house. None of the neighbors and friends have mistaken me for a demon, or one of them hooded earth-worshipping, moon howling Pagans. Also, we didn't skip church last night so that my daughter could go 'trick or treat'ing, but there is always next year.

My original premise was that all people in the world past and present could be called either children of God or children of the Devil. It follows logically that whatever is not of God is of Satan. The word "satan" and the word "pagan" are used in a connective sort of way.

My basic premise still stands--whatever the subject is, it is either of God or of Satan. That is a pretty simple paradigm. Why is there so much disagreement?

While we do worship on the first day of the week in our assembly, we call the day the Lord's Day instead of Sunday--probably because of its pagan origin. That works for one day of the week. Changing the other names would create a lot of confusion for many people--but is not a bad suggestion. Getting concensus will be difficult, but not impossible. Let's go with the Jewish Calendar.

Yes, that is logical. If you assume your
conclusion, you prove the same conclusion.
It is called circular logic. Very logical.
But the logic can lead to error as well
as truth and there is no way to tell the
difference. So though logical, circular
logic is of no use to help promote the

they are in this sentence. THat does not
make good evil nor evil good.

The Stanist has great faith in the
father of lies: Satan, the lead devil.
The Pagan has great faith in their designer

Faith is NOT the key. Faith in God

key especially faith in the Saving Work

The statement about who Satanists worship(from the religious tolerance article) indicated that Satanists worship themselves(ego-mania),which is the problem Lucifer has--he is in love with himself. Depraved mankind has the same problem--whether he acknowledges that fact or not.

Making a premise, whether it be right or wrong, giving supporting evidence, right or wrong, and drawing a conclusion, right or wrong, is a basic form of "adult" discussion.

Yes, Israel had a problem with pagan idolatry. God chastised them severely. We have the same problems--with dumb idols.

"All lies come from the father of lies." There is another scriptural connection between "pagan" and "satan". Are we going to call this circular logic. Are we having trouble with true/false questions?

"Come out from among them,saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing."

That is kind of what He had told Eve:...do not even touch the fruit--or you will die. She was beguiled. Are we beguiled? YES.

The terms "Pagan" and "Satinist"
describe two different
groups of people. Neither group has found
the truth which is Jesus.



Titus 1:15 (HCSB = The Holman Christian Standard Bible)
To the pure, everything is pure, but to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; in fact, both their mind and conscience are defiled.

This includes the symbols.
Some use symbols for Satan,
some use symbols for purely mankind use,
I'm committed to using those symbols
for Messiah Yeshua. But one does need
to be aware of what the symbols might
mean to others.
