What about professing evangelical Christians who overwhelmingly support a man who's been divorced twice, cheated on all his wives, had at least one illegitimate child, stiffs contractors refusing to pay them for their work, incites violence, discriminates against blacks, hispanics and women, lies incessantly, poses as a Christian, takes us to the brink of nuclear war, trashes God's creation, takes food and housing away from the needy,.......

Because your candidate was incompetent and crooked and should have been locked up. How could a Christian vote for a liar like Hillary?

The Republicans tried to block everything President Obama did. As a result the Congress during that period was the worst since the "Do-Nothing" Congress during Lincoln's time. Now Republicans are trying to take healthcare away from those who desperately need it and making plans to cut Social security, Medicare and medicaid.

That was politics. One side has one view, the other side has a different view. All opposition was aboveboard and played out in the appropriate places, there was no ambushing or terrorizing Democrats when they were off duty and trying to have a meal at a restaurant. If you remember it was Obamacare that was passed in the dead of night with taxpayer funded bribes to wavering Democrat politicians, and no Republican input was allowed.

As for Obama, what he did was to take money from Medicare to fund his health plan and that is the reality. Look, why don't these people who desperately need healthcare avail themselves of one of the Christian based health programs that exist and stop looking for taxpayers to subsidize their Obama plan? I am currently in a Christian based health share program that costs me $200.00 per month with no deductible. Everything is covered up to like 1 million dollars. People have got to stop depending on the government and go get their own healthcare. I did it and so can everyone else..

And yet God is still using Him, and how do you know that He had done all of that. are you the lord and know his heart and mind? You have a perfect life, so no FBI would turn up any dirt on you then?
God can use anyone including Hitler, Stalin, the Pharaoh of Egypt, Judas andand King Herod to further His purposes.

Please explain how Obama took money from Medicare to fund Obamacare. If Christian based healthcare were available to everyone who needs it that would be a great alternative. That's an impossible dream. If you can demonstrate that that's feasible please do.

Old news. There really isn't any money for anything but Obama did campaign on the fact that he was taking $700,000,000,000 from Medicare.

Several Dems have called for disrupting people all the time everywhere and Soros has been around to pay for them to do so. Are Dems on a jihad?

It seems to me to just be bad manners to bother people in public. Everyone has a representative in government.

Here is a video of people bothering Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell just leaving the airport in Washington DC and being waylaid by stupid comments and rude Dems. Are Dems on a jihad? This is very dangerous for everyone and not part of the American way of life in the least.

It is now :Laugh

Obama took the money that would have been spent on Medicare and diverted it to his healthcare plan. This money is needed to provide a taxpayer funded subsidy so people can get on those standard health insurance plans. Remember, everything was mandated from on high so people were forced into plans offering coverage for things they did not want or need, plus everyone was forced to pay a penalty even if they did not have health insurance. Leave it to Democrats to make everything more complicated and expensive for everyone.

The "faith based" health programs are not an impossible dream as there are many out there to choose from. How is it feasible? First, they are not required to offer coverage for things that you are against, like abortion for instance. People are required to adhere to a higher standard of healthful lifestyles, no promiscuous sex or drug use for example. It is things like that which change to paradigm of healthcare and costs do indeed come down.

People need to take control of their own lives and stop depending on a huge, unwieldy, and wasteful government to provide things for them. There are several faith based programs out there and people just need to forgo the government or employer system and take advantage of what they have to offer. I could have signed up for a health insurance plan where I work, but the faith based plan I am in is not as expensive and requires no deductibles to get medical care. It's what is referred to as a "no brainer".

The $700 Billion Medicare Myth

Medicare has been front and center in the media and on the campaign trails this week. As part of our Medicare Truth Squad efforts to debunk myths and claims about the Medicare program, today we focus our attention on a pervasive myth that keeps going around.

Some policymakers, candidates, and members of the media have been touting the claim that the Affordable Care Act (ACA) cuts $700 billion from Medicare. You may have even started receiving robo-calls that repeat this point. These claims are simply untrue.

What the ACA Really Does for Medicare

The Affordable Care Act achieves savings in the Medicare program through a series of payment reforms, service delivery innovations, and increased efforts to reduce fraud, waste, and abuse. The actual projected reduction in Medicare spending is largely a result of reducing overpayments to private Medicare plans that have been paid more than traditional Medicare but do not perform any better. In fact, according the GAO, saving on wasteful overpayments now means there will more future funds for legitimate coverage.[1]

Besides reducing fraud and saving taxpayer dollars on excessive overpayments to private insurance companies, the Affordable Care Act has already made, and will continue to make, improvements to Medicare.[2] In fact, people with Medicare are already seeing real savings – an average of over $800 per person on their drug costs this year alone.

The bottom line: ACA preserves every cent of Medicare's guaranteed benefits AND makes improvements to th

How do they insure people in Canada, Israel, Germany, France. I live in New Jersey & you know the tax situation here. My boss is Israeli & he has put 2 sons through college & then higher edu universities.....they are both Doctors now & he paid almost nothing for it. In Germany, if you have the grades you can get a free education and they will work to finance foreign students. He said when he looked into it his son didn't speak German.....no problem, just send the kid into Germany & they would find him classes to teach him.....the only thing the kid would have to do is work there (Germany) in order to pay back all that college he had handed to him.

You know, the Israeli laugh at Americans....say we are a 3rd world country, very behind the times. But they love taking our money, getting free European vacations & very good low cost health coverage.

Of course you just made that up.

If I made it up, why do you have a post mentioning the same number? Originally you said that there was no issue at all. Check some more and you will find that those were Obama's very words. Of course, the real problem is that Medicare is bankrupt so there really was no money anyway. I myself took Obama's statement at the time to mean that he wanted to ration healthcare for seniors.

On the news - very raucous crowd outside of the Senate.

Observation : Arrests are being made, people have matching shirts and nicely designed and colorfully printed anti-Kavanaugh signs.
Conclusion: Probably on Soros payroll.

Yes, and he used Obama similarly, and could have further used Hillary like Jezebel, had he thought it necessary. Thankfully, he did not…for now.

Israel had a slew of bad leaders. We have not entirely escaped the general pattern. Nevertheless, God's will be done.

These are professional protestors for sure. I mean really, at the drop of a hat all these people show up, in the middle of the day no less. Don't they have to work?

First of all, they are not spending the kind of money on the military as we do, in fact we give these people millions. So they can take our free money and put it towards their educational and health care systems. We have 300 million people and now a 21 trillion dollar debt - the interest on this alone is in the billions. We have made our nation the prime destination for every illegal immigrant from Mexico to Pakistan because of our freebees to them, they can get over on us and they do - by the millions. Everyone laughs at us and I don't blame them, we take care of people who are not even citizens of our country. All of this is a recipe for a financial disaster of the likes we have never seen.

The Affordable Care Act requires taxpayer subsidies so people can get a health plan. We cannot afford such programs and there is no Federal constitutional mandate for the ACA. Please show me in the Federal compact where taxpayer dollars are authorized to go from Joe Smith to Joe Schmo?
