The $700 Billion Medicare Myth

Medicare has been front and center in the media and on the campaign trails this week. As part of our Medicare Truth Squad efforts to debunk myths and claims about the Medicare program, today we focus our attention on a pervasive myth that keeps going around.

Some policymakers, candidates, and members of the media have been touting the claim that the Affordable Care Act (ACA) cuts $700 billion from Medicare. You may have even started receiving robo-calls that repeat this point. These claims are simply untrue.

We were talking about his statements that Hillary should be locked up. He never said exactly why but people assumed it was about Benghazi or her emails. Both were investigated numerous times and she wasn't even indicted for anything. Trump has a LOT of crimes that are still under investigation. Let's just lock him up.

 

So you're throwing out ALL the laws that have been passed by Congress since the Constitution was passed? Of course the do-nothing Republican Congress (worst in history) hasn't done much of anything except pass tax laws favoring the rich and shut down the government but there were some good Congresses in the last 250 years.

 

I accept God's will but think Trump is a disaster for America. Maybe God's will is to take down America.

 

We are currently paying the most for healthcare among developed countries and getting the least. We need to change.

 

You are not being rational with that assessment. That didn’t force anyone to vote a certain way any more than did Hillary’s associating Trump supporters (technically half of them, but which half?) with “a basket of deplorables.” The difference in the two candidates was that she attacked his supporters, he went directly after her. McCain got it for the same reason. He cowardly attacked Trump supporters; Trump went directly after him.

Was Hillary guilty of anything? Of course. Guilty enough to be locked up? The only real question is, for how long? The full extent may never be known outside deep-state actors, because of the extensive cover-up masquerading as investigation. If you don’t know any details of this, then you haven’t been paying attention. It’s a joke to compare the investigations of her with those of Trump.

BTW, Hillary called those Trump supporters every name in the book: “racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamaphobic--you name it.” Typical Democrat rhetoric--demonizing those who don’t agree with them. But they take it much further with their physical abuse.

In any case, ABC (Anybody But Clinton) was an optional route, which many took.

Who is this speaking? My article explains that president Obama cut waste from the Medicare system. Hey, I've been on Medicare for 1 1/2 years. It works great. The only people trying to kill it are Trump and the Republicans.

IMHO, the only way for liberals to concede the fallacies of the left, is for the left to get power (as under "O") and see just how quick (???) the freedoms we now have disappear forever!! (I still think O would have done this IF he could have pushed arms confiscation quicker & easier!! JMHO!)

Starting with the 2nd, ridding themselves of any opposition to their "take-over"; next freedom of speech then the press, finally ending with the elimination of all the useful idiots AFTER they have served their purpose and are awakened to the lies of the left!

I re-read R-T's post and saw nothing of the kind. Did he/she claim that in an earlier post? But nice try at putting words in another's mouth.
IMO, R-T highlighted an important tactical difference - HRC attacked Trump supporters ("deplorable" was bad enough; "irredeemable" infers lifetime awfulness - sweet), while Trump "went directly after her."

 

No, I am stating the obvious, namely that Trump or some of his supporters saying, "Locker her up!" would not force anyone to vote for Hillary. If someone thinks that it would, then that someone is being conditioned into a state of non-thinking or irrational thinking, probably by the drone of the MSM.

 

I do not claim to know God’s specifc purposes in all that has been happening, but I consider much of it to be the natural result of abandoning righteousness. It has been going on a long time. Trump is certainly no messiah, but given the current state, he is still head and shoulders above any Democrat, as he seems willing to listen to some righteous voices.
