Ohhhh you want me to be kind to you do you.......ROLF! Besides, you only know me by my conserned side.....trying to wake you from your spiritual lethergy.

Ever been in the military? In my branch anyway the men you meet when you get off the bus are called "Drill Instructors" ... have you experienced this? If not & you think your a unique entity when you 1st get there... well that notion will leave you very quickly. Same thing with Christianity..... many are called but few, right.

Now you think that that DI is just the most miserable son of a gun you ever met & you dream of killing him but somewhere along the lines you start to see him molding you, assisting you & teaching you so that one day you will have the honor of actually evolving into a Marine. Brother it ain't easy but it changes you.

Personally I see you moving in many ill advised directions, I scarcely know how to deal with it. You've slandered people, & you have postured & you have wined but honestly ....like you say, I see nothing of you to tell me your anything but confused. Now you can take that analysis, along with the analysis of other well intended folks & throw it in the garbage or you can do a real life hard inventory of yourself & work to better yourself. If I believe in any deity, I would bless him & thank him for that freedom of choice, for without owning up to the fact that you can do that, all the rest is weakness. Your choice brother.

I have not whined, postured, or slandered. You cannot offer any proof of my slandering anyone; none exists because it did not happen.

Instead of being "concerned" about the state of my soul, it would be better if you and some others here were concerned about the state of yours. God knows me, and He has accepted me and all the beliefs I hold, which He has led me to and given me, by the way. I need approval from no man.

On WHAT basis did God accept you though as being one of his family?

Yes, that's very beautiful -- thank you!!

The Celts had something unique -- something worth rediscovering and preserving.

Thank you for this olive leaf, which I humbly accept. It brought tears to my eyes.

Michael, I share your admiration of celtic history and ancestry. The wife and I visited Ireland in 2010, loved the culture and people. I was astonished as the the depth and age of human existence in Ireland. It is dated back over 10,000 years. Although, I was saddened to see so little evangelical influence.

WOW!!!! This is incredible!!

THIS is where the "lined out" Hymnody of the Old Primitive Baptists came from!!! Oh man this is waaaay too cool!!!

I have always loved how the O.P.B churches do thier singing. Now I know why in resonated with me.

Its in me. Being of Celtic descent...This music is part of me!! They are my people.

Well, isnt that something!

That was a cool video. But I can tell you now that was not an Emergent or Seeker church, did you see those cool looking pews with the hymnal/bible holders , way cool. A Seeker church would have no need of that because all bible verses and music verses are on the big screen, no need for hymnals or bibles.

Ohhh yes & how stubborn we are too......My wifes people were shot dead in front of their families for refusing to cave into the Sassenagh regarding stance on faith. & My fathers people stubbornly refused to enter into English churches however my Great Great would go into their services (Anglican) and helped them translate from the English to the Welsh language the gospel for those who recently moved from Wales to America

And if you think the Scots can sing, you should here a Welsh get together.......The singing is fantastic! Ive read archives of my ancestors referring to "the tribes" ie., thats what they called the waves of immigrants coming from the UK to America. They would not build a home until they built a church. These are wonderful traditions.....wonder where they went?

So what?

Bibles in pews is a relatively modern issue itself. How far back does one have to go before they find the Bible CHAINED to the altar so that no man dare open its pages instead of next to the hymnal in every pew?
