Babbling against Speaking in Tongues

1Co 14:27 If any speak in a tongue, let there be only two or at most three, and each in turn, and let someone interpret. (ESV)

1Co 14:27 No more than two or three of you should speak unknown languages during the meeting. You must take turns, and someone should always be there to explain what you mean. (CEV)

1Co 14:27 If any man speak in an unknown tongue, let it be by two, or at the most by three, and that by course; and let one interpret. (KJV)

I visited my brother in laws church couple weeks ago where he is the Apostolic Bishop there.

Like going to a Commodore’s Concert.

Wasn’t too bad other than their head is stuck in the sand with the Book of Ax

There was a guy sitting behind us speaking gibberish- his heavenly tongue.

No interpreter, not by one or 2, etc. Just confusion and real mess behind me.

No preaching of the gospel, sin, Pauline Epistle, they cannot differentiate between KOH and KOG- just the Holy Ghost and everybody is going to heaven.

You know what Paul said in Galatians 1........

Yet at the same they are more involved in their community, doing things to help folk in their community, giving to their community, people, veterans that are in need in their community than most Baptist, etc. churches combined.

It is a shame they do all of that materially than miss the mark where it counts concerning souls.

We can all be doctrinal jackasses, but it is about fruit, souls- us decreasing and HIM increasing.

Well, for awhile, so was Sun Yung Moon's "Unification Church".

"Not by worx, lest any man should boast."

I believe we can summarize by saying two things:

"The HOLY SPIRIT has many gifts, which He bestows at HIS choosing time, place, and the nature of the gift."

"The notion that one is not saved if one doesn't speak in tongues is totally-FALSE!"

Absoltely......Scripture supports which is our final authority
