I am sorry but Monogenes does not mean begotten. You can deny the obvious, but rumor has it even the NASB has recognized that fact. Monogenes means unique or one of a kind.

More accurately, the 1833 New Hampshire Confession.

On and on Y1 posts mindless questions, defiantly ignoring Romans 8:30, proud he can spout falsehoods with impunity.
Returning to topic, here are the flaws I found (or think I found) in Article 4, Salvation.
1) "Whole man" apparently refers to the fact both our spirit and body are redeemed.
2) There is no salvation apart from God crediting our faith in Jesus Christ as Lord.
3) Regeneration occurs after God credits our faith and places us into Christ. Faith before regeneration.
4) "Commitment of the entire personality to Him" should read "commitment of our entire personality to Him."
5) Justification occurs after God credits our faith and puts us into Christ where we undergo the washing of regeneration.
6) Sanctification initially refers to God setting a person apart in Christ (the sanctification by the Spirit) and subsequently refers to our progressive sanctification where we are conformed to the image of Christ.
7) We are first glorified spiritually as a new creation in Christ, and will be glorified physically at our bodily redemption, so glorification is a two step process.
That is not as Calvinistic as prior ones. Takes more of a mediating stance!
IV. Salvation (Updated and Corrected)
Salvation involves the redemption of the whole man spiritually and phyically, and is offered freely to all who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, who by His own blood obtained eternal redemption for the believer. In its broadest sense salvation includes our faith as credited by God, individual election, sanctification, regeneration, justification, and glorification. There is no salvation apart from God crediting our personal faith in Jesus Christ as Lord.
A. Our faith that results in salvation is our faith if credited as righteousness by God.
B. Our individual election for salvation occurs when God credits our faith as righteousness and places us spiritually into Christ.
C. Regeneration, or the new birth, is a work of God's grace whereby believers become new creatures in Christ Jesus. It results in a change of heart wrought by the Holy Spirit through the washing of regeneration, Repentance and faith are inseparable experiences facilitated by grace. Repentance is a genuine turning from sin toward God. Faith is the acceptance of Jesus Christ and commitment of our entire personality to Him as Lord and Saviour.
D. Justification is God's gracious and full acquittal and forgiveness upon principles of His righteousness for all sinners who repent and believe in and are placed in Christ. Justification brings the believer unto a relationship of peace and favor with God. It is the attainment of the righteousness of God.
E. Sanctification initially is the setting apart in Christ of the believer for God's purposes, and is then enabled to progress toward moral and spiritual maturity through the presence and power of the Holy Spirit dwelling in him. Growth in grace should continue throughout the regenerate person's life.
F. We are spiritually glorified when placed in Christ and reborn as sons of light. Physical glorification is the culmination of salvation upon the Second Coming of Christ and is the final blessed and abiding state of the redeemed.
