If you are a good patrol officer, you know your entire precinct.
I imagine one would get to know his usual territory pretty well but people are doing things differently with technology and I'd bet a youngster could likely flash his fingers across a screen and glance at his his phone and tell you exactly where a place is at quicker than you could pull it out of your memory bank. :)

Nah. Good officers know their beat and know their people. A major reason l.e. is hated today is because they are distant from the citizens. They don't interact with the people in their precinct. They don't form relationships. Most of them never get out of the car except for enforcement action.

Mrs Salty has an interesting take on this

Did this lady come up with this on her own, or was it something her pastor mentioned/insisted/demanded?

If so, is this lady seeing her pastor as an idol?
