That is all the person said.In what way? Details please,
Recently I heard a Calvinist say that Calvinists live like Arminians in the real world. I found that to be an interesting statement. What do you think?
I gathered from his comment that those who claim to be Calvinists live like Arminians when it comes to living out their faith. I have thought about that many times and have not come to any real conclusion. Here is a thought.
Maybe he was referring to the Calvinist version of eternal secuirty, i.e. Perserverence of the Saints. The elect will perservere to the end; so if you don't perservere in trusting in Christ, you were not part of the elect. Therefore perserve in trusting Christ in order to have been part of the elect.
[Arminians] (Calvinist) perserve in trusting Christ so they [don't forfeit their salvation] (are part of the elect).
Another thought: He may consider all non 5 Point Calvinist to be Arminians.

MAny Calvinists would "go to the stake" to say God is sovereign and the blessed Controler of all things.
Then go out and live without faith like it all depended on my work. Little prayer. No daily dependence on God.
We don't let theology bother our practice.![]()
