What is wrong with the east coast?
Nothing is wrong with the coast. I prefer it to the gulf and the west coast. I like the cities along the southern east coast (like Charleston, Savannah, and St. Augustine). And the inlets are cool as well. Beaufort SC is one of my favorite small towns. But if you want water like the Bahamas go to Destin FL. That is also pretty and they have great fishing.
Indiana is cheaper than Florida. What’s her name was bitten by the Florida bug but the Florida bug never bit me.
Florida is OK. I prefer the GA and SC coast. My preference is north of St. Augustine and south of Myrtle Beach. It get's cold, but not too cold....hot but not too hot too long.

Sounds nice but too far from my son in Winter Garden. The wife wants to be close and a factor in raising the grandkids.... but it might be a great vacation place. Thanks for the tip.
