I apologize for the confusion. I have been a libertarian since 1980 and a Libertarian Party member off and on during that time.

Did you not say a couple months ago that you were going to vote for someone who has a chance to win, and would not vote for someone (Paul) who has no chance? Barr's chances are zip and none.KenH said:Only to cause aggravation for the GOP Establishment.
But wasn't this "complete unknown" the same one who you were throwing your support behind and planning to vote for this year? Wasn't a picture of his bumper sticker right next to your name?KenH said:The Democrats could name Hillary and walk into the White House but they’ve apparently decided to shoot themselves in the foot and name a complete unknown, extreme liberal as their nominee. No one really knows where the Obama thing will go. He has gotten a free ride from the media and therefore the normal vetting process simply has not occurred. His most recent gaffe on controlling our diets could alone sink him.

First is was "vote for Ron Paul - he's the man." Then, "vote for Obama - he's the man." Now it's "vote for Bob Barr - he's the man." Does this sound a little confusing to anyone else?

Also, I disagree with your assessment of Barr's chances. We'll find out on November 4.![]()

In other words, you've simply changed your mind... again.KenH said:Ron Zeigler was President Nixon's Press Secretary from 1969-1974. He is famous for uttering the sentence ""This is the operative statement. The others are inoperative" on April 17, 1973.
